Yea it's a group date this week and the losing team is suppose to go home but bc Vanessa is on the losing team he changes his mind bc he saw they are crying plus Vanessa is on it while rachel , Corinne and raven I believe are in the winning team.

Ain't that funny, so I think that's what they start getting mad at Vanessa and noticing nicks feelings towards her.

I doubt they never noticed his strong connection or feelings towards Vanessa or other girls. The point here is that Vanessa noticed and was whinny about not getting time.
Didnt Jasmine say something about others noticing Rachel had a connection with Nick, and yet the girls still liked Rachel. Says a lot about Vanessa if she couldnt manage that feat. Takes a special woman to do it.
And also everyone notices connections even when it is sometimes a figment of their imagination. IMO

The difference is that Vanessa is the one to beat. It's very different from the other girls saying Rachel or Raven have strong connections with Nick and still liking them, IMO. One would say that Corrine is the one to beat based on Nick always letting her stay but the girls don't think that because it's obvious who Nick likes and that's Vanessa only. JMO

I'm curious what the basis of this thpught is i.e that the women know V is the one to beat

We don't know exactly what's been said between all these women since a lot of things they don't air. I'm just basing my opinion of what I think. I think maybe Vanessa has spilled some beans about her date with Nick with the other women, she's confident, yadda yadda. The other women were probably annoyed/bitter which leads to Vanessa's frustration with the "gossip" going around in the house. JMO

I don't know if the girls would necessarily know that he ONLY likes Vanessa, especially since Nick didn't go the Brad or Juan Pablo route by giving her constant validation with group date roses and special things set up for her. They don't get to see nick/Vanessa's alone time. If I were there, I would probably think Rachel is the biggest competition just because of her FIR, GDR, and 1-on-1. That's all it took for the girls to think Britt and Olivia were THE competition. Or Raven, since she met his family and will get two back to back GDRs. I just don't get the sense this is a jealousy thing, especially with Liz saying that the girls made a pact not to interrupt each other and how everyone had each others' backs. In that type of environment, Vanessa's behavior and demeanor would be a problem for many, IMO.

Yea Vanessa hasn't had much on screen time with nick but I think it's because he knows how to play the game. When he was talking to V about Corinne , that was his sign saying be patient because he has to keep Corinne on for the viewers.
Nick know that if he's with the same girl a lot people would think he's favoring her so he knows the Vanessa is the F1 but just doesn't wanna show the other girls.

I honestly don't think rachel will be the next bachelorette IMO , America isn't ready for it.

Whatever it is TPTB hasn't shown anything about Vanessa's supposed bad behavior and demeanor and we're going on episode 6 now. The crying and whiny tone from Vanessa coming up is pretty normal to me in Bachelor history. Are they trying to keep their F1 in a good light or was the the whole hating on Vanessa from the other girls thing irrelevant to the storyboard?

QUESTION: Leading up to epi 7, did the women in the house think Vanessa could be 1 of the frontrunners?

I'm going to use something Nick said in a few interviews about edit to justify my opinion that the other women had no idea what the connection was between Vanessa and Nick.
Nick's take on edit is that it represents to a degree the view of the house.  Based on that (the nature of the edit) I don't think the girls in general were aware of the extent of the Vanessa/Nick connection early on and even up to the last epi.
The edit:
Liz situation - V looked unimpressed at the RC but we know they have a natural convo where she is a bit perturbed and her concern is not about sex but about whether he knew Liz was coming on the show.  It seems important to her that everyone has a level playing field which makes me think Jasmine dating a "close" friend of Nick's prior will make her question if he had met Jasmine before and failed to disclose that.
Wedding GD - she was super silly and that would be the first impression the girls would have of her with Nick. Plus, Vanessa, Raven, and Elizabeth were the only ones not to kiss Nick on that date which might have led some to think Vanessa was just a fun girl but not the kind of sexy some may think he is looking for. Moving to the cocktail party where we see no interaction indicating perhaps no one thought she was important on that date.
1-1 - we never see anyone talking about their 1-1s which suggests they may have decided as a group not to share.
Bouncy pool party - no interaction with Nick poolside just her telling Taylor she was pissed.  What the girls didn't know was that Nick and Vanessa talked about what the intention would be going forward in their relationship, not about Corinne as some others did.  People often assume others act on the same motivation they do so girls may have thought she was focused on Corinne and biotching about her to Nick.
WI intro - Vanessa is showing goofy again piggyback riding up to where Nick meets the group then he goes off with DLo.  Later at the shitty GD Vanessa/Nick interaction is no different than with anyone else.  At the cocktail party she talks with the others about how she would like to see Nick with a few good women which is very generic and more about process than connection.  Also, Vanessa/Nick alone time is not where he met the others.  He talked with them on a chaise that was in view of the house and bonfire. The edit more clearly showed the non-Vanessa sitdown place a few times suggesting the cuddly repore between V&N is out of sight, out of mind.
Ghost GD - Vanessa just watches with Jaimi as the others crowd around/interact with Nick.  Then she is hanging with friend Dani while others have alone time.  Edit again indicating that in a group what Vanessa does doesn't stand out in the house.

Combine edit with Nick never giving Vanessa a GD rose and giving her RC roses in no particular order suggests to me Vanessa might have just been seen as sometimes focused on the details of the process, sometimes a bit typical Italian fiery, often silly, and actually not a threat because after all she comes from Montreal so Nick would never seriously move their (perception of some I'm sure) and she isn't what some might feel is aggressive enough for "all about sex" Nick (  not my opinion but many of the girls came in with preconceived notions).

Sorry for the length but I wanted to substantiate my opinion.
