Vanessa Grimaldi - Bachelor 21 - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #3

In the grand scheme of things and life in general, does it matter or is it a big deal?  IMO, no.  But in bach nation world?  IMO, yes, I think it is and it's telling.  

And since its a general discussion thread, not a fan thread, its perfectly ok to speculate and discuss.  It is part of sleuthing and what we do here.

I am finally getting caught up on the episodes. Life tends to get in the way especially when you have young kids! Anyway, I just watched the episode of Nick and Vanessa ' s 1on1. Honestly, if you can kiss someone right after they have vomited multiple times, it has to be true love! Nick seems to be very interested in Vanessa and I like how she calls him out on his behavior. You go girl!

This is why I said JMO... IMO it's not a big deal. I respect others may have different views. That is the good thing about this site. I love that we can have different opinions.

I hope we get a little bit of Vanessa and Nick tonight.

Nick and Vanessa have atleast one girl in their corner post-show IMO. Interestingly it is the season's villain Corinne.

ETA: This is my first season sleuthing so I am not sure if it is common for contestants to like pics of the lead kissing someone else esp. the rumored F1. I thought it was sweet. JMO.

SM habits differ with every person. I follow friends and, in some cases, acquaintances. More often than not, I like and comment on posts of people I interact with on a daily basis -- whether it be in person or through text. Someone I met a few times a few months ago? It's nice to see what they're up to, but I'm really not that curious. Other people I know are more active - liking and commenting on posts of people they haven't spoken to in ~forever.

Just because you've entered Bach nation doesn't mean you get indoctrinated into this "new" way of using social media. Unless I'm missing something and the contestants are trained to follow/comment/like in a certain way... IA, it's perfectly ok to speculate and discuss; but it's also my opinion that there's a lot of reading too much into it.

I think in retrospect after seeing herself on tv and how she was portrayed, perhaps her eyes were opened a bit regarding her attitude. So maybe she is reaching out now that the show is over and being the person she wants to be vs the person for right or wrong the show portrayed. Then maybe I am dreaming.

I personally won't follow people I could careless about and would not want to see them on my news feed. I know some people think it's not a big deal but to me it's obvious Rachel probably does not want to see Vanessa on her news feed and Vanessa could careless since she follows Rachel. Social media is about your interests. If you want to follow & see what that person is up to then hit the follow button. Rachel chose not to for her own reasons we'll never know. JMO

Kasha, this made me laugh out loud, loudly! I've interacted so long with your personality over the years, I can hear your tone of voice in those words! Too funny.

Every time Vanessa posts a photo with any ring on her finger people flip out. They don't even care what finger it's on. She can wear a ring on her thumb and people still comment on Instagram "ring, a ring! I spot a ring!" I guess Vanessa is going to have to deal with that until the engagement is announced.

Good thing she doesn't wear the ring in her nose then.JMOAA
