Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #5

What I am seeing right now is they seem trying so hard about their status . The changes of the way they are recently is just very telling . I could be wrong but it is really showing . I feel like Lauren is not the same at all towards him . To me she seems trying to look everything is okay and hiding something . While on Ben is not also doing something to make the public thinking something is not right . I do understand that they are in contract . If Ben and Lauren think the public is dumb they are doing it wrong . Jmo.

How much longer is this contract? Poor Lauren, all I can think about is how much she must just want to get the @&$k out of Denver and move to some nice sunshine.

Is there a clause saying they can't split up?? Previous many couples from this franchise has broken up within 5/6 months of going public . They have already been a year together . Why can't they make it public ?? Lauren staying at Megan houses tells a lot and since she is not hiding it, maybe she is trying to give subtle hints to everyone that they are indeed on verge of breaking up IMO

Maybe sleeping in the same bed isn't important to them either, along with Christmas, birthdays, weddings, marriage and being in a relationship with each other IMO . All unimportant things from my vantage point to them.

Kaitlyn also told Nick she loved him while refusing his proposal.  IMO I think she lacked the insight needed to separate loving things about a person vs loving a person at the depth one should before marriage. Ben might have been in the same headspace.

Yes, I wanna know what the GMA interview will be about so I came over here hoping you super sleuthes might have uncovered some clue. It such a fascinating mix of guys. I'm trying to figure out what they have in common aside from all being former bachelors.  The 3 past Bach all returned to the former residences after filming.  That's all I've got so far  

Maybe they're just the opposite of normal (IMO) couples...

The couple that never spends time together, stays together.  

(At least until given the Ok by TPTB to make an official statement)

IMO Lauren is not at all trying to hide that they are over. She's openlu posting on sm, not caring one bit. I'm thinking they've been told to not announce the break up yet. IMO.

I'd like to know what made her stop even trying. IMO it started end of December, she's been just doing her thing since then.

No I don't think there is a clause saying they can't split up, however, we do know they're appearing in the twins show. Grace split up but i believe had to put off break up news until the episodes are done airing -- how stupid would that look? They also had their own spin off show so maybe something is in a contract for that making them stay together for X amount of time.. IMO. I think Lauren is over hiding it, she's posting many single shots / snapchats that suggest she's over this facade. Truly, I think Ben is the one who left her and maybe this is her way of getting even.. IMO. She's not sharing anything that makes it seem like she has this amazing relationship at home - even her commenting on Jojo and Becca's couple pictures is odd to me.. All my opinion

I find it funny that Ben was so quick to post something on IG dismissing the breakup. If it were simply not true he probably wouldn't even post anything and just go about his day,IMO. There has been tons of other rumors about them. Why is he dismissing stuff now? .... jmo

Is Ben even capable of breaking off with anyone ?? As far as we have heard,he was the one who has always been dumped .IMO Ben must have waited for Lauren to be the one to pull off the plug . I don't see him be like the one who could end it . JMO

@Simon21 well maybe thats the case, but maybe he stopped doing things that made her happy, so maybe he pulled away but didn't cut the chords.. jmo

IMO, their appearance could easily be edited out of the twins dumb (IMO) show.  They have to wait until they are told it's ok by TPTB at ABC and the show to make an official public announcement.  That is no different than any other couple that as come from the show.  

Normally, a break up announcement is timed to be released with other things to overshadow it.  Lots of positive happy news to make you forget the negative, sad news.  So IMO, they will have to wait until something else Bach related happens...such as Nick's season ending and he and his F1 going public.  (Let's remember we don't discuss the current season in any thread but Nick's.)  the only way I see them getting to announce it early is there's just too much speculation and talk and it distracts from the current season.  Then, IMO, they maybe allowed to early, but I'd also beat something else Bach related is announced that same week, even if it's just a show renewal or something.
