Seriously, I don't get that response. His IG post was simply about caring for her, which isn't lying, so perhaps he didn't want to give an official comment so that when it all come crashing down in a month or two he won't look like a lying idiot. All JMO

He just contradicted his own IG. That's weird. Then again, everything with them lately has been weird, so. In due course, time will tell with these two. It won't be long yet.

Le sigh. I had such high hopes for them and really did like them both individually and together. I've been cooling on them significantly since the cancelled wedding though. I agree with @Seabear that the canceled wedding was probably the nail in the coffin. Very difficult to recover from such public hurt and betrayal like that. Huge red flag. In retrospect, clue #1 was them stating they were going to counseling. 

Well, it's sad... but what are ya gonna do? Bigger more important things to stress over in this world. Hope the two of them find their forever happiness. They had a good run, and I still think they are both decent people.

Honestly, the only thing keeping them together is their faith and being family oriented,IMO. I think Ben loves Lauren but he's not IN LOVE with Lauren post Bachelor. I think he was in that bubble love and once it hit him that he would actually marry Lauren, he got cold feet. It sucks for Lauren because she did the big move just to be humiliated again and again. I hope both find peace if the inevitable really happens. Looking back the way their engagement happened with the two ILYs and then Ben trying to justify his actions by proposing again on ATFR, only to dismiss the wedding again just put a sour stamp on their relationship forever. JMO

That is one bizarre response, if the aim was to squash rumours. I do believe they love each other, at least in the superficial way they did at the time of the proposal, but that doesn't prove they're compatible in the long run. I also thought the B ring probably stands for Bushnell rather than Ben. JMO.

Yikes...a lot has happened since I was here. To be honest, we have followed these couples for years. You kind of know their usual shtick when it comes to a break up.
