Agreed. In that moment with the dad nonsense was the moment I knew I would never root for this relationship because it was so, so fake to me. She should have just been herself in the beginning IMO and not pretended she was oh so sweet, down to earth and all Midwest simple gal. Just own who you are. It's fine.

Yeah. My vantage point Lauren tried hard. She lived and did life the way Ben saw fit (living in Denver, extended long trips to Indiana, lower profile hanging with his friends.) She was supportive of his shortly lived Political embarrassment. Let him convince her to do HEA (they both have said he was more on board and she needed more convincing.) Its only in the last 2 months or so where she has gone rogue to do her own thing. And can you blame her? I'm not convinced all this travel and running is even who she is or what she wants. But it's where she's at due to circumstances.

My impression is that Lauren is leaving Mexico today (she and Mollie both snapped saying they don't want to leave.) And Ben may or may not have been at PDX (though I'm inclined to be believe he was, otherwise why would he have faved that tweet imo.)

How do we even know what pre-engaged Lauren is really like? We didn't even "know" her before she was engaged. What we do know is she was in a 4 year long relationship with the Jimmy Johns sub shop owner Sean LOL. She was a flight attendant. She broke up with Sean in about April - so 5/6 months before going on The Bachelor. And she went out and got drunk and arrested at Coachella same month she broke up with her long term boyfriend. That's all we know. I see no reason to believe she didn't want "that life" with Ben, see no reason why she wouldn't try to settle down. Her excessive travel and running to me is recent and imo a reaction to events.

Fair and imo, it's not any reaction but who she is, what she likes and wants and always has. Time will tell who she is post this (IMO) imminent breakup. I say she goes back to LA to party and be "free" and travel for a long, long time. Which is perfectly fine (her life and all) but not at all who she presented herself to be to Ben.

Pre being engaged, Lauren seemed to travel a lot (a lot of Mexico, Vegas, Toronto trips.) That's all I got Just based off of her pre bachelor pics on her IG/tagged pics/pics on her friends' IGS.

I tend to think that Lauren did/does want the stay at home family/married life with Ben, and I think she would have/will do that. I do think she is a family girl. I think Ben not being all that excited about getting married to her any time soon is what is getting in the way of that. JMO.

Lauren's ex's friend said that Lauren had no ambition, and her ultimate goal was to be a housewife (in that magazine from when the bachelor was airing.) Perhaps she wants the life her mom led/leads. Her mom was a flight attendant in the past, and seems to be a very caring doting mother, she travels to see her kids a lot (since they live out of state, etc.) Does anyone know if she works?

I imagine most young, single flight attendants live out of suitcases.

Housewives/SAHM have ambition. Just a different one perhaps.

So Ben is supposedly in Portland, as he liked a tweet asking If he was at the airport in Portland, Lauren has supposedly either left mexico, as she liked a tweet yesterday saying someone saw her at the airport, and posted today that she didn't want to leave, Ben has denied rumors that they were split up, Lauren has snapped a photo of her B ring and captioned it Benny Boo, all of their closest friends have come out and shown support for their relationship in their comments and some have slammed said rumors, Radar online, the "most credible" gossip site "got an exclusive statement" from Ben saying he couldnt comment (which could have meant anything, i.e. He couldn't comment on reality Steve or even just a comment from his publicist saying he couldn't comment on Ben's personal life, we will never know), when e online, Us weekly, and people magazine didn't, (not suspicious at all) and Ben tells Lauren happy birthday on twitter which is supposedly not good enough because he should have been more over the top romantic to shut down rumors he already denied. Maybe Ben has decided to give a big eff you to trolls and sm. Maybe he doesn't feel the need to validate their relationship with long sappy posts on sm, which him and Lauren have both never done, so why start now just to try to appease trolls on sm (and to clarify, I am not referring to anyone in here , but the many trolls that comment and harass them daily on their sm accounts) and then be accused of putting up a front? IMO, for months now, they have been accused of putting on a facade. If they are still together in 6 months, the same accusations and nitpicking will still keep onIMO. They have even been accused of potentially just getting married to prove people wrong, and are settling. It really makes me wonder how long do they have to be together before their relationship is "real?" All just my thoughts/ opinions while playing catchup.

Valid points. I think there are members such as myself just taking a wait and see approach.

Ben isn't in Portland. He just tweeted, and his location is tagged as being in Colorado.

That girl tweeted Lauren was at the airport yesterday, Lauren was still snapping from Mexico today.
