Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #5

For all I know, Ben wasn't able to take off the whole week of work to join her. Lauren has already posted twice showing sweet gestures Ben had done to celebrate her birthday, and considering she has been more private about sharing their relationship, He could be doing much more privately that we will never know about. Personally, I prefer they keep the best part of their relationship private anyway, as they don't owe me or anyone else anything IMO. Also, is regards to Lauren "calling Ben out" on twitter yesterday, IMO she was joking as she including winking emojis and followed up with a gif when it was presumed he had texted back. I saw it as nothing more than playful banter IMO. And yes, IA, I would love to vacation every week as well. I won't hold i against Lauren for being afforded a luxury I can't have though. IMO, you should take every opportunity you get because they aren't always going to be available.

Seriously different strokes for different folks. These two people, like their relationship, seem ice cold to me. Chill in the air. Idk how anyone feel happy in this scenario.

I know flight attendants used to get great perks. I have 2 friends "my age" who continued to do such throughout the years for perks alone.
I think he lips look fine, IMO. Her sister appears to have her lips lined(I can see it) and that might also make them look fuller. Personally, I like the natural look with lips and brows so much better. Those OTT brows on anyone look ridiculous IMO.

ETA: I don't know that the relationship is cold. It could simply be private. That's ok with me. I hate seeing too much PDA.

^ I think it was moreso the fact that he didn't respond to her texts in the first place than the banter they had on Twitter IMO.

And Lauren planned the girls trip 3 weeks ago. It's GIRLS trip, so he was out of the equation anyway. But he's currently in Indiana, where he also went just 2 weeks ago too.

Honestly, for as much as Lauren did for Ben, she still seems to miss her old life, and frankly, I don't blame her at all. She was living REALLY good before. Now, I think she's just bored as hell IMO. I think she misses traveling (so she misses being a flight attendant.) I think she misses LA (so she misses the beach, her friends, and the fun places.) I think she misses being able to do whatever she wants, whenever she wants. I mean, now a days, she literally snaps herself doing absolutely nothing, but still doesn't have time to work on her blog? She's bored IMO.

It could be. Sometimes you do what you have to do for the ones you love and make the best of it. That's the key, making lemonade out of lemons or guacamole out of avocados.
She does not seem unhappy to me. When you are accustomed to traveling and being on a buzz with that constantly, it can take time to adjust to taking it slow.

The truth is that we don't know any of these couples and we only see what's on the surface. I think many questions, at least for me, are coming from the fact that they have spent little to no time together during the month of January, which was right after Nick's premiere when they said they wanted to settle down, focus on their relationship, and truly get to know one another. I just haven't seen that. Lauren has been on a few trips now during the month of January without Ben. One of the times she was actually at home for a few days she wasn't even alone with Ben. Her two friends were there and once they left she headed off on another staycation with other friends. Here she is on another trip without Ben.

Of course Lauren was teasing him and I didn't take it seriously when it comes to that tweet, but if she wasn't lying with that tweet, it's funny to me that he was live tweeting the bachelor, but not texting her back. I'm all for balance and I totally think Lauren should enjoy her life, but it seems like she's not really incorporating him into her life right now or perhaps it's Ben that's not making the effort. Who knows.

As I said before, they might like it the way it is right now. Not my cup of tea, but whatever works for them. All JMO

Then if she is like that, then she is not ready for marriage. When you come to this show, its a known that sacrifices will be made. The couples that make it are the one that really want to make it work. Catherine left Seattle, a job, friends and family and moved to Dallas to be with Sean. Des left and moved in with Chris, Molly same thing she did for Jason and on and on it goes. If Lauren misses the girls nights out and single life, she should just end the relationship right now. When you get married, and are with someone, you can't expect that your life will be the same when you are single.

I don't think she's unhappy either. I think she's bored, and it shows IMO.

I dont think she has to do it the way the other girls did it. But I am finding it a little weird that they're spending these milestones apart. I thought Christmas was weirder than her spending her birthday away.

But Lauren wants the wedding so bad and only Ben is not ready while she is waiting . So  she is ready.Hello? **EDIT**

I see that a lot of flight attendants have other family members that are/were also flight attendants. Do you need to have an "in" to be a flight attendant?
