Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #5

I do not see/understand why a woman living in the 21st Century should not be able to travel with other friends without her significant other. Maybe I am strange. I believe during this time, Ben was out of town, also.

Why should he sit at home all day on a Saturday when Lauren isn't even there? He was at work all week while she was away on a girls trip. IMO he should be able to go skiing without Lauren while she is flying home.

IMO, I think sometimes how you conduct yourself post Bachelor shows your true self and intentions.

Ben is clearly not ready to marry Lauren post Bachelor even though he said "he would marry her tomorrow" if he could. Lauren to me always looks the happiest when she's with her friends because that's what the Lauren before the Bachelor was always up to and it's probably the real Lauren too. I actually think they shouldn't marry anytime soon. Still a lot of growing up to do from both. JMO

I don't think it awful either she went with girlfriend's especially since Ben was out of town on work. My idea now is Ben out skiing while Lauren on her way home. Makes me wonder if he was their to pick her up or still skiing? If I'd hadn't seen my guy in a week I would think he would want to see me fast if you know what I mean.

I don't think taking a girls trip is bad.  I do think the oversharing and being tipsy and all the whole time is a bit much and tacky.  some things should be kept private and off SM, IMO.

How do we know that Ben is or isn't bothered by her actions?  Maybe he is actually being a grown up and will tell her in person and keep it private if he does.  Instead of subtweeting and throwing shade on SM like most of the immature idiots (IMO) in Bach nation.  

At this point, I think they need to figure out what they want as individuals and as a couple and do some growing up before getting married.  Because while they do spend quality time together when they're actually together, they have been apart a lot lately, IMO.  And I'm not saying you have to be joined at the hip and never separate cause that's not health either.  A happy medium would be nice, IMO, but if that's what works and floats their boat, then so be it.  I don't have to live with or be in a relationship with either one.

I follow Lauren on snap and honestly didn't see any tipsy snaps. I don't follow any of the other girls though so maybe it's overkill if everyone is snapping.

Seems like Lauren committed a HUGe crime going on this girls trip. It was so wrong of her to have fun, be silly and getting tipsy on holiday . Lauren, you better stay at home and cater to Ben's need. How dare you go without Ben and how dare you have fun. JMO

Lauren has always been a party girl prior to the bachelor based on her friends instagram the things is lately she has been going out more alone with her friends drinking more and she is engaged compare to Jen, Amanda and Lace and she is acting immature

@Simon21 Lauren had a girls trip a couple weeks ago and she is having another at the end of the month this is going to be her third girls trip

When you get engaged you can't go out with the girls and drink? Marriage means becoming a friendless teetotaler? Glad I am #HappilySingle

I know I'm not saying she can't go on a girls trip. I just think she and the others on the trip could have posted about 10x less on social media. That's all. IMO

But I do tend to agree that Ben and Lauren need to figure themselves out as individuals and together as a couple before they move towards a wedding. JMO
