Bachelor 21 - Nick Viall - Episode Discussion - **NO SPOILERS** - *SLEUTHING* DISCUSSION

Ok - finally have some peace and quiet to watch the next episode - well - I'm hiding upstairs in my bedroom away from the kids!

I'm a big fan of Nick and I'm looking forward to seeing his love story.

I just really hoping that TPTB just don't go over board with the manufactured drama this season.

Ok here goes.... I'm gonna post as I watch.

Group date first.

Some of these girls are naturally gorgeous - best looking bunch of girls I've seen.

Photo shoot - this is often the first date isn't it?

Corrinne is a total producer plant to add drama - prima donna and self absorbed which means we are stuck with her for quite a few more weeks yet!

Hey - Britney looks amazing - I didn't notice her the first night.

Jasmine is kissing Nick!

They are all kissing Nick!

OMG - even more kissing! It's Taylor's turn.

Who hasn't he kissed on this date??? These girls are forward!!!!!

Corinne is treating this like a competition. She's taken her top off and she's getting him to put his hands on her breasst. YUCK.

Ewwwwwww.... sorry but this is toooo much for this old chook. I'm not comfortable with this.

My prediction - Corinne is going to be stalker/obsessed girl of the show. she's not going to cope with the other girls going on dates with him.

Yes Raven ... he has glitter on his nose because it came off the last girl he kissed!

Oh no Danielle - one of my faves - is picked to go on the first single. Has the F1 ever had the first single date? I thought they usually have later dates.

Taylor is very exotic and very smart. And here is Corinne again and Nick just let her interrupt. Bad form Nick and now you are just kissing. Again! You are suppose to be getting to know them by TALKING not by playing tonsil hockey.

Corinne gets the group date rose! And no one is happy. yes Vanessa - I am also questioning Nick. Not overly impressed with Nick on this date.

So far this episode I'm liking the girls more than Nick.

Danielles date now - I think she's my fave.

This boat is amazing! This is more like it.

The Liz/Nick drama is going to explode. Liz is just here for her 5 minutes of fame. She wouldn't give him her number when he was just a twice over bachelorette reject but now that he's THE BACHELOR she suddenly wants to be with him. I don't buy it - and she's totally over the top and milking it with Kristen, the virgin.

Loving the date with Danielle - they are talking and getting deep.

Oh... her story just breaks my heart. :broken heart:

Oh... I like her even more now. And Nick's response was amazing. How can this sensitive Nick be the same guy that put his hands on Corinne's boobs?????

Now that's a kiss! A sweet one at the end of an evening where they got to know each other and made a connection. I wish the rest of the dates will be like that.

next group date - Ok Nick is a deep thinker and I am reminded why I like him.

Things are awkward with Nick and Liz - they should have sorted theit stuff out the first night... but I guess that would be anti climatic.

Loving this date - so fun and relaxed (apart from Liz/Nick dynamics). Nick's adlib is impressive. You can tell he is one smart guy.

Liz's turn. He is so uncomfortable. He doesn't respond. Totes awks!!!!!

It got so good I forgot to post! Kudos to Nick for his decision to let Liz go and she didn't even make a fuss.

As for next week it's all a bit OTT with all the crying and like "he's broken my heart". Ladies you have only spent about 30 minutes with the guy - lighten up! There's no ring on you finger yet.

This is a very good example of the difference between the US franchise and the Aussie and Kiwi ones. You would never ever see Antipodean girls behave this way. But if they did, the others would very quickly turn to them with mouths agape and say "girl... you need to get a life!"

If I were one of the girls, I would say, "Corinne, Nick and I just started our conversation. Come back in 5-10 minutes." They are going to have to be more assertive with her, and it would be nice if Nick backed them up.

Obviously I have no clue what the "pecking order" is this season, otherwise I would not be on this thread. Ha ha!

However, I think it is high time that somebody with a First Solo Date does make it to the end for a change, rather than just F2 like Clare Bear in Juan Pablo's season.

What I thought was interesting about Danielle's date was that it didn't involve any sex talk. That seems to be Nick's theme ever since he accused Andi for "making luv to me" on After The Final Rose. Kaitlyn's season was all about "IT" too. Also he and Liz had a "wild time" without exchanging numbers or emails, but that wasn't enough for him to keep her. He goes in for The Physical Connection first, but needs to strive for The Mental Connection if he wants more than just a temporary "wild time".

With that said (all of this "IMO"), Corrine dropping the bikini top wasn't that big of a deal for me. The other was forced to go topless and sport a leafy bottom for her shoot anyway so the pictures taken were still discreet. Just that the ladies created a commotion about it.

Now... as for Corrine's future exploits teased in the seasonal previews as a woman on the hunt, that is another thing to debate.

Mia you will be missed over here . . . . I was thinking the same thing during the episode, but I am going to tough it out here and hope things get better!!!   I still can't know the outcome this soon or I will stop watching all together. I really am a Nick fan so I HOPE he gets it together and seeks out a girl that is right for him.  Maybe it is Corrine (much to everyone's dismay), who know - but if she is his match then so be it.  I don't have to live with the crazy, he does.  Though going through another Jake/Vienna show isn't very appealing to me
