Yea Italy Gold an Bronze! Forza Italia! 1500 metre freestyle. Italy never had a medal in this event!

This is the year for the firsts I believe. It's rather nice to see.

Yes it is and he took the Bronze in the 50 meter freestyle.  I've been an Adrian fan since the 2012 Olympics but I pull for all our athletes.

I've been a hugee Nathan Adrian fan and love that he's asian! (he's half) been a fan since 2011/2012 as well!! It doesn't help that hes the most good looking on the swim team LOL.


also, i am not ready for michael's last race it's been such a good 16 years with him!

Yes he is half Asian and has beautiful eyes and he is very tall - 6' 6".  He swam in the final relay in 2012 so I have hopes of seeing him one more time!

Since Michael's last race is a 4X100 Relay I am hoping that Nathan will also be on that relay team.  Nathan didn't swim in the preliminary heat so I have high hopes.  The NBC schedule shows the swimming to come on at 9:00 pm and I'll be watching.

Nathan will also be on the relay!! I'm watching online now. But if you are in diff time zone, it will show on NBC. So excited!!

Was Nathan Adrian a member of the relay?  Local news here said it would be on at 8:00 pm instead of what was in the NBC email I got earlier today so only 40 more minutes to wait.

He was. He was the anchor and he did not play any games. It was close with a slight edge to USA when he went in, and in the end it wasn't even close. Your boy SLAYED.

Sorry our luck ran out for medals in the pool, tonight, but congratulations to Michal Phelps and the American team. We did get another one in the Women's Pentathlon, though.

We had an amazing run in the pool! It's too bad it ended this way but none the less the girls were awesome from day one!
