Olympics - Rio - August 2016 *Spoilers*

I know. I have the online stream on all day at work. This just happened!

So happy for this! Rowing is big in my area. We hold all sorts of competition where rowers come from all over.

Rowers Lindsay Jennerich and Patricia Obee of Victoria have taken the silver medal in lightweight women's double sculls rowing in Rio.

Rosie Maclennan's defended her gold in trampoline for ! The women have really delivered for team Canada and I'm so proud :happydance:

She's the first ever back to back Olympic champion in trampoline! Our flag bearer, what a great routine! I'm in tears watching her and her family!

We can also watch online but not sure if we can see the Canadians. Will have to check it out.

It's almost to my least favorite week. I love the swimming and women's gymnastics more than track & field and some of the other events. Oh well, I'll watch anyway. :Nod:

I like everything except boxing, I've never been a fan of that. That's what I like about our coverage, they show all the countries. Right now, France and Virgin Islands boxing just wrapped up.

They always have great back stories on the athletes. I can't imagine how long they've been working on putting it all together for the viewing audience, just a terrific job.

Penny's brother plays NHL for the Dallas Stars. Someone tweeted that he will now forever be known as @PennysBrother

I think it's so cool for Anthony Ervin the swimmer to win a gold at the age of 36, 16 years after his first one. He and another gold medalist, Ryan Murphy, attend the same college as my son, so that's extra awesome !

Yes it is and he took the Bronze in the 50 meter freestyle.  I've been an Adrian fan since the 2012 Olympics but I pull for all our athletes.

^I love his smile! He looks like he truly enjoys his Olympics experiences.
