Olympics - Rio - August 2016 *Spoilers*

Wow did Nathan Adrian bring that relay home in fine fashion - what a finish!!   A new Olympic Record - way to go team! 

I wonder whatever Michael Phelps is going to do with all those medals - 28 total and 23 of them Gold.  That is a whole lot of hardware. 

Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian of All - Time - congratulations Michael on your wonderful achievement.

It's been such a pleasure to watch Michael Phelps since his very first Olympics. 28 total Olympic medals, and that's not counting the endless other medals for various other championships. He is truly an amazing athlete! I hope he comes back Tokyo 2020!

Part of me hope he comes back for 2020. Part of me wants him to retire on top. He would make a good commentator, imo should he not come back.

I know, it's always a chance any athlete takes. Leave on a high, or try one more time and you might end up going out on a low.

I can see him trying one more time to see if he can beat Anthony Ervin's title of being the oldest Olympian to an individual medal. Anthony is 35 yrs old. MP will be 35 yrs on June 2020. If that's his goal, I think he should give it a shot. He is already the most decorated Olympian, no one can ever take that away. It would be so exciting to watch.

Ryan Locate said he is coming back. So it gives Phelps that added incentive spirit.
Either way, it's very refreshing to see those outside of the youth bubble compete. Erwin was certainly a fantastic race!

Absolutely thrilled for Wayde van Niekerk (South Africa) for winning gold at his first Olympics and doing so with a new WR (from Michael Johnson).

IA about the history making stories. They are so moving. The Italian spring board diver Tania Cagnotto won silver. Her father won four medals in previous Olympics, so sweet to watch!

They are running constant commercials on the network I watch of future Olympians. I haven't seen the same one twice yet.  

They are young. They are training in their sport, they all say the same thing. I'm so and so, I'm not at RIO, you don't know me, I'm tomorrow's Olympics.
