Snapchat is F U N. And for those who are not on it, they are missing out, IMO. There are so many interesting people on there and they are doing and creating really interesting stuff (if you follow the right people). So much more creative and personal than FB & IG. You can save whatever video/pics you capture so I share a lot of moments with my kids on there with friends and fam. 
Side note: I don't watch many of the Bach alum because most are pretty boring, IMO. Some good ones though: Ali, Brooks, Tenley, Jade & Tanner
Great non-Bach: mplatco, OperaAmericano, Harris Markowitz, Ginicanbreathe, Producer KCM

I don't think that is a feature as of yet. 
After opening up the app, you will see who has recent snaps after you click that button on the lower right corner. They are listed in order there under "Recent Updates."

My co-worker is in her 40's and she got on the Snapchat train this year.. she even got her husband and dad to join!! She loves it! In fact shes my snapchat BFF ! We work in tech and since I'm young and few of my co-workers are young, she embraces it. She said she loves the idea that it makes her feel connected for a brief moment (few seconds). It's fun, silly, short which is why its so popular. It's also really greatly designed and pretty easy to use. It's even more fun now with filters.

I ddin't know you can save the snapchats, I thought they just disappear in 24 hrs. Favorite ones can be saved? How?

I think it's funny to imply that because BenLo is using SM they are somehow chasing fame. Uh, last I checked, they are famous! When both People and ET cover Ben getting stuck in elevator, I'd say that media is chasing them.

As someone posted upthread, they are posting just like anyone else. Only difference is that they have 1 million followers...which is loads more than anyone else.

My daughter is super active on IG and snapchat, as are all her friends. Facebook is out, for teens in my community anyhow, as too many parents.

I think they're just having fun with social media and keeping people in the loop. They're posting enough to give fans what they want but not being overly in your face about it. I think they appreciate the positive support they have gotten and are at the end of the day people pleasers and are enjoying giving fans a glimpse into their life. I don't think they're doing anything for show. The blog about their BYC event solidified that to me. The writer said they weren't putting on an act but were genuine and not over the top, instead giving each other winks or laughing or quick hand grabs. I think their posts are just to make people happy. There's so much negative on social media, it's nice to see a picture of a couple so clearly in love. And the elevator snaps literally had me laughing out loud.

I'd imagine knowing your pictures or snaps are seen by thousands of people is a little intimidating... And you might think twice about posting something. But I'm sure it can also be cool to know 100 thousand people may like this picture. I love to write posts here and get 10 likes!! Makes you feel good in a way.

All and all I think they have a very good balance going. They're clearly focusing on being together right now and getting to know each other's friends and family. They've made their relationship a priority. That and their family values and support is one if the main reason these two have a really great shot at making it work. I really hope it does work for these crazy kids. And I'm happy that every once in a while they give us a glimpse that it is.

You can save your own vids/pics (only) to your own camera.
You can always take a screenshot of someone else's pics/vids, however, they will see who does that on their view screen.

I'm in my 40's and I want to join in. Just by looking at Lauren's I think that's it cute and entertaining. It also show glimpses of personalities. I think that Ben and Lauren were reserved about it but now that she has the hang of it she has realized that it is FUN. Thanks for the recommendation.

At this point, I think Benlo just roll their eyes and dismiss it as white noise - a lot of the rudeness stems from people who wanted him with Jojo. Some people just don't know when to quit. Benlo's friends and family probably were instructed not to get involved and they are certainly taking the high road. I will always and forever support BenLO together and independently. I've actually left supportive comments on some of their photos.
