They normally don't get the last couple to appear with the next lead particularly since they have recycled one of the rejects do they? How awkward would that be ?

Like I said I love this thread and I come here to see different opinions of Ben and Lauren. Yes, it did upset me that he told lauren AND Jo at the last chance dates that he loved them both. That had never been done. I thought it was weird but clearly Ben and Jo and lauren all got over it. I do hope Jo is finding the one as we speak.

As far as a long way to go...I simply meant that they are fresh off the show. It is a silly TV show and I am sure they are adjusting but it does take adjusting just ask all the former leads and couples. Still wishing them the best. ;)

oops this might be a wrong thread. Anyway , true it takes a lot of adjustment . Although I do think since she's officially moved in Denver for weeks now and able to be there now.Hoping she is easily adjusted . I do think they are still in bachelor phase of their rel since they are at their early stages of their relationship. Hopefully she is not getting bored in col. If she is only seeing one person most of the time ( which her good friend residing there ) she needs to know more people especially she is alone at their home at some point . Maybe she is making herself busy taking her time on wedding planning and brainstorming about while waiting the official wedding planning.

I think that after the show ends, all the couples are forced into a 'hurry hurry, rush rush' mindset, and it takes a bit of effort to kick out of that habit. Every couple (or most of them) does a huge shift and tons of BIG changes in their lives, both individually and as a couple. With Ben and Lauren, they got engaged in public, faced all the show drama in public, Lauren moved to Denver, and both included each other into their lives fully, pretty much from 10% to 100% in a matter of days. At some point they have to slow down, take a step back, and get used to the changes. (And I know they did all this willingly, so they're no victims or forced into it).

So IMO, if Lauren has the means to, and can take an extended holiday from work, while Ben starts back with his work, and they get into the groove of things, it's just good for her/them. If they can slow down and limit a few changes to the ones they've already made, IMO it's just smart. Jmo.

I personally don't think when - or if - Lauren returns to her job as an FA says much about Lauren because I don't think it was Lauren's decision to stop flying in February in the first place. The way she phrased the reason why she stopped (i.e that it wasn't fair to the other passengers) doesn't sound to me like something Lauren said - I think she was repeating something the airline said to her as a reason why she shouldn't be flying and she was simply echoing their position without putting any "blame" on them.

IIRC Lauren has on at least two occasions (an interview and a podcast) said how much she likes the job and how she thinks it's a job that can fit your needs for a lifetime and I have no reason to doubt that she is sincere when she's said that. IMO she'll go back to that job when - and if - the airline feels it's OK for her to be back flying again; that may or may not line up with her own wishes but IMO it's not her decision.

If the show wants to keep them in the spotlight they will be paraded at regular intervals on specials etc. shortly. Just not having them give Jojo any advice laugh out loud

Since this is a Ben and Lauren "Fan" forum. I don't like reading one person's negative comments. I think Lauren has held her own and head up high and Ben seems to appreciate how she has done that. I do too.
