I think it's because this post was about the dress, make up and hair as she tagged all those involved. It seems like when she's focusing on style and fashion she posts pics alone. And she probably liked the way all of that looked in thus pic.

When it's Ben and her, it's just about Ben and her, for the most part, IMO.

That's a pretty big generalization about millenials. I know plenty who rarely post at all because they are busy doing other things.

Speaking in generalities, of course. There are obviously exceptions to every rule. I'm considered a millennial, though definitely on the older side of the generation, and I am hardly on social media. Millenials invented social media. They invented the selfie. In general, they use SM more frequently than any other age brackets. So far, it's what kind of defines them as a generation, IMO.

What irritates you about Ben and Lauren, stuck? Just curious. They remind me a lot of Chris and Des. I honestly feel like these two couples (and even kind of how their seasons panned out) are cut from the same cloth.

It's really up to her employer whether she could be working just yet. There may not be any available jobs in Denver right now.

I don't follow them that closely but settling into a new home and city can be time consuming and a tad stressful. I've done it many times with my family. If she does go back to flying then that will take time away from home and their fledgling relationship so I guess we'll see what and when she decides. :Nod:

I saw their snap yesterday where Ben was watching tv and totally ignoring her and had to laugh. Six months ago he couldn't believe she'd give him the time of day, now he's ignoring her laugh out loud

Just proof humans can get used to anything I suppose.

Sleepy, since you asked, Lauren doesn't have any of the genuineness of Des. To me a see a young woman very involved with how she looks. The few selfies I have seen, we have filters to make her look doll like and duck lips. I don't see any passion from her for anything outside of Lauren and as an extension of her Ben. Not impressed. I admit I am biased. The young women I know who are Lauren's age are actively involved in dental, medical or graduate school or are working on a career. Lauren is a girl whose passion seems to be clothes and her looks and now her fiancé. She isn't particularly witty or intelligent. She is involved in charity through Ben only that I have seen. She has ample free time, but her interests seem shallow to me. She just doesn't interest me and this whole take time off to set up house and a wedding shows a girl not interested in any kind of more in life. I am sure she enjoys modeling stuff, but not much more. She to me is a lot like Emily who doesn't interest me at all. Since she is being put up as so awesome she irritates me. Again this is all my opinion and I only typed it out because you asked sleepy. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but girls like Lauren are not my cup of tea. I like interesting people with goals.

She still could have posted a picture with Ben and tagged the fashion companies. And if her case is to show off the dress, well we can barely see it and the ring stands out more.

I'm just surprised Lauren hasn't started a blog. I honestly figured she would do that and then she could make money off sharing her clothes and makeup.

In time she may. It seems so easy to make money off of things like that now. Some hawk cosmetics, jewelry, stationary etc. To me it's easy money and if you can do it, go for it. Some of it's reasonably priced, some not so much. I guess there's a foot for every shoe, a pot for every pan.

I have reservations about the lauren half of l&b also stuck. Only because of her body language on the show itself. Therefore this couple is in the tbd list. Hope they do make it and that it was the environment and cameras that were the reason for the unease. Mainly for Bens sake he really was a smitten kitten regardless of how she was coming across. Imo the whole ILU to jojo was producer inspired ( he looked like it was forced out of him).

All this imo and fingers crossed for them.

My personal opinion, Lauren has no desire to return to work right now. She just moved and is playing house, redecorating, and planning the wedding. I think she is perfectly happy to do that other stuff and will not work again until they either break-up or marry (most likely marry). I get a vibe from her very much like Catherine, happy to embrace the change and flow with it and in no rush to return to her former activities.

As for Ben being annoyed at Lauren not working. I can see this, not enough to cause a break-up, but enough for it to be real. I am sure that he totally appreciates that she changed everything to come be with him. But in exchange it seems like the only thing in Ben's Denver existence that has been left as it was before is his job. Sounds like Lauren is completely changing a home he had worked hard on and making it "hers". Now this again is just the description I read here, but shouldn't she be making it theirs? Does his opinion count for nothing anymore? So yeah, I could see Ben getting a little annoyed and I am also sure that it is not really a big deal. All couples have to adjust when they move in together and most have some irritation as part of the process.

All JMO.

What makes you think that Ben doesn't have any say so in what Lauren is doing to the house to make it a home for both of them? From what I gathered he couldn't wait for Lauren to move there and start fixing up the house.
