I still don't think they will have a TV wedding for Ben and Lauren. At least not like the big productions they have done in the past. Those days are gone imo. I also think Ben and lauren need some time together in the real world before worrying about a wedding. Most of, maybe all, of the past couples have said you don't really fall in love until after the show is over. They need some time.

I am happy this discussion thread exists to voice concern and express differing opinions from the fans. I am actually a fan, just a cautious one. ;)

I think they'll get a TV wedding if they want it and don't ask too much. I'm pretty sure the days of million dollar deals and live TV spectacles are over, since TPTB aren't that desperate anymore after all the success stories, but something smaller on the network's terms is certaily doable.

I'll chime in too. I think they will be offered a TV wedding. I'm guessing it would be part of a special or combined with another Bach show. Ben and Lauren seem to be well liked by most people, and seem to have gotten along well with TPTB. I don't feel the time frame for anyone is really an issue if they are meant to be; I have known many people who were engaged and married quickly, as well as long engagements and that alone doesn't seem to make any difference if there is a long and happy marriage or not. Now, if it was someone like my uncle who met a women at my sister's wedding, and drove up to Tahoe that night and got married - that's a different story I would say that's crazy. They are now divorced by the way.

I'm thinking it's actually being discussed, and the middle to late 2016 or early 2017 dates that they have mentioned as possible dates are the result of those discussions - they really seem to fit dates when the show has had past TV weddings and I think that's more than just a coincidence.

I think this couple is motivated to get married - that's a decision they've already made - and the show knows they probably can't put them off beyond dates the couple wants or they will just go ahead and do it in their time frame anyway.

They've been together and engaged for over 5 months. I'm guessing there is some degree of "real love" by now.

Lauren has moved, Ben is back at work. The SM is minimal. The appearances are few and far between, and are only tied to causes near and dear to Ben's heart (BYC, Indy 500). The paid product schilling on SM is non-existent.  They've spent copious amount of time with both families, both together and separately, like a massive amount of time. They are fading into normal life. I love all the decisions they've made for themselves so far, and so far, I'm really trusting their judgment. Only they know what is "the right time" for them. I'm not saying they are going to rush to marriage (I believe them when they say next winter - and I think it will likely be on TV), but Tanner and Jade were only together one month longer than Ben and Lauren when they got married. Just for a little reference. Not saying that's the right decision, but these people gotta do what they gotta do regardless of what we think sitting on the sidelines.

Ben and Lauren definitely will figure out what is best for them. They are finally in what some of us consider real life. Hopefully it continues being great for them. The wait and make sure it is real is simply that the bachelor secrecy and the whirlwind travel aren't real everyday life. Same advice I would give to any friend.

Tanner and Jade had lived their settled KC life for a few months and people did still freak out at them getting married so fast.

Does Lauren back to being flight attendant already?

^ Don't think so. No clue if Ben has gone back to work either. They are probably just barely settling into living together.

Ben's back to work, I think Lauren said wants to but she has to figure out whether she'll be able to perform her duties without being hassled.

Ben is back to work - this is his second week back. Lauren has stated in interviews that she planned to go back in April, but it's a hard job to maintain at the moment, as you might imagine. She said she plans to go back in some capacity, maybe something behind the scenes. Even more recently than that, she tweeted she plans to go back to being a full time flight attendent soon.

A year from now will be a lot easier for Lauren to be a flight attendant. I don't blame her if she decides she can't fly right now due to the overwhelming fans interfering with her responsibilities. She stated in an interview that her mom was a flight attendant when she was her age, and her mom regretted not doing it long enough. She has stated multiple times about how flexibile her work schedule can be especially with a potential family. IMO, she will continue to work for Alaska Airlines in some way.

I think she said she tried to go back before, but the attention she received was a headache for herself and other flight attendants. It could also become a security risk. So she took the mature approach and decided to not fly for a while. I'm guessing she might try again in May. Jmo.
