The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - ATFR - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* #3

I was simply talking about the ATFR outfits. Very reminiscent of the choices for the FRC. Lauren - plain and elegant dresses; Jojo's were gaudy and flashy.

Yeah, I don't think Lauren is any way or form against wearing more revealing etc clothes. She just likes 'simple' as she said herself. No sequins etc.

Sometimes, they include video of an interaction in the previews and it never makes it to air. I think that the above two instances are examples of such. I also don't think it's hilarious that people sleuthed the couch and the ILY scene. That's what the board does.

Sorry...didn't mean about the sleuthing. I meant the people who kept saying "it's the most emotional ILY, how can Ben propose to Lauren?" Then, it wasn't the case. Mom's clip of choosing Jojo and then it wasn't used.

Which makes a case that this whole thing is so manufactured. Probably when they realized that Ben's taken with Lauren about halfway into the show, they had to ask Jojo to play the blindsided F2 and guaranteed her the ette role (much like Ali exiting early from Jake's season and then pretending to want to come back).

That fake and tears surprise look of Jojo was just annoying. I guess that's the start of her acting job.

Lauren, JoJo, and many other giirls who were on the show have no problem being on camera and showing off their bodies. They are all beautiful so why not. Lauren is no more classy than JoJo or any of the other girls. JMHO ;)

I feel Lauren dresses similar now to how she did on the show. I've admired her style all along and I actually loved her JK dress. Yes, it may be the most revealing thing she has worn so far but low plunging necklines are huge right now and she rocked it!  As sexy as that dress was, I still thought she looked elegant and classy.

Something that has really struck me after the show is just how comfortable Lauren is with these public appearances. Ben has had a lot more practice yet she matches him with how confident and well spoken she is. I'm sure her being a flight attendant helps with this, but the way she seems to even address the audience when answering questions has really impressed me. I also love the respect they show each other when speaking. They don't talk over each other or answer for the other person. I can totally see these two becoming the face of the Bachelor Franchise now over Cat & Sean.  They really do seem like a "First Couple".  I'm really rooting for them. They bring class back to this franchise IMO.

IA as was their brothers fake OTT performance. There is fake and then there is fake OTT. I have many examples of both, and both are annoying to me.

Just watched the show,  did not see any awkwardness or anything off with Ben and Lauren.  I saw two young kids in love and supportive of each other. I actually see them working out. She complements him well especially her quiet confidence complements his neediness. Jojo became very needy towards the end, a mismatch IMO. I  enjoyed this aftr show. The togetherness of the families was very endearing.  I  also have to commend Laura- she exemplified class thruout the show. What a young lady! She has become 1 of 2 of the classiest women to grace this show!  The other being Last season's Whitney.

IA! You're right about how Lauren seems so comfortable in these appearances, and that, unlike Ben, she hasn't been doing this for a year. She's very poised and well spoken. Neither seems to want to hog the spotlight but they are respectful of eachother and patient (answering the same questions over and over).

This may have been discussed already, but they mentioned in an interview (maybe the FB one) in response to a question along the lines of 'could you ever see yourselves having a show like Chris/Peyton about home improvement?' and they said maybe. Laueen said she's really into interior design and Ben loves home improvement. I think this is where they mentioned loving the show Fixer Upper.  Anyway, despite my hope that they shun the spotlight, which they seem to want to do --at least for a while, they are both natural in front of the camera and could pull off their own show.

Looks like Lauren did a photoshoot with someone while Ben season is airing .She really embrace the camera and comfortable.

Yes, she's really coming out of her shell. I wouldn't be surprised if she changes careers in the future.  Watch the feet ....

I loved Lauren's dress on ATFR.  I did not like JoJo's dress at all.  Lauren's was lovely stylish and feminine. JoJo's was just not attractive on her.  The open boobs made her look top heavy.  I think JoJo is also a beautiful woman, but not so much the way she was styled at ATFR.  I also felt Ben was distant from JoJo, which was appropriate.   I think it is a choice on his part, but also as he got to know the two women better, he knew who was a better match for him, and that made his feelings change.  It all worked out for the best, but JoJo, don't dress like that.  You are so beautiful and that dress was not at all flattering in my opinion.

I fully expect Lauren to change careers soon. What did she study in college?
