The Bachelorette - Season 12 - JoJo Fletcher - General Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* - #2

I doubt Caila turned it down. JMO. From what GA said, sounds like she lead to believe she WAS the Bachelorette....like Arie was lead to believe he was the Bachelor a while back. Then producers just took it away from her. Whether she was just a back up the whole time, or just they were testing the waters, or they changed their minds IDK.

This is correct.

Caila would be a wonderful Bachelorette.  Beautiful, Complex, Educated, Positivity personified and Diverse.  Clearly as usual IF JoJo is the Ette TPTB/ABC do not care about Diversity.  Business as usual.  Opportunity lost.....  With JoJo as Ette...she and her family can continue their quest/audition for the Fletcher families own Reality TV series.  

So much for JoJo not being able to imagine her life without Ben.  I actually started to buy it.....shame on me.....good on TPTB editing team.

I agree Seabear...with all but the buying it part. When tptb try to bulldoze me with a new "love connection" as we near the end in hopes of throwing me off the one that I have seen all along, I have learned to never believe. Not to mention that I am stubborn that way. The more I find someone trying to convince me of something that I am not convinced of, the more I question their motives...they are usually up to no good!

Ready for Love imploded IMO because of the producer Longeria relationship with one of the leads. JoJo brother Ben has a certain sex appeal much like JoJo and he played that up on the show. He led on and on and even allowed his friends to critique one of the finalist harshly where they were basically telling her she didn't belong or met their standards socially (that's my take on it)

JoJo was supportive of Ben but she was concern that they might be more interested about his financial successes

Neither can I. I'd like to know exactly what made her so horrible. It all starts with SM IMO. SM chooses favourites and we've seen it happen so many times. Favourites need to be pumped up and others put down in the worse meanest way to make their favourite look good.  I very seldom read comments, only what I read here for that reason. Blogger boy types who form their opinions on someone they don't know and next thing you know Gawd has spoken. One angry or jealous friend may run to the mags, and next thing you know it's fact. I hope she has some good offers for her future because my personal opinion is that she is a wonderful young lady who appears to have a lot of motivation to accomplish and explore life as much as she can.

@sophienette I saw your post in the locked thread, so I'll answer both here. I'm 99% sure JoJo is the next lead. IMO the next lead isn't the  lead until the limo's are pulling up. Anything can change on a dime, and it has for many seasons. I suppose they can change their minds again, but they have a couple of days to do it if they start filming mid week. Sleuthers haven't noticed any other filming. @Longhornfan was the one who noticed the Bachelor filming in Dallas on her local news. This is an excellent example of "keep on sleuthing".

Also, I can assure every one Caila was not in on anything but rather another example of being blindsided.

Is it possible Caila found out she wasn't going to be it by WTA? She just didn't look her normal self on the show but I thought it was so she'd look sad about being dumped as Jubilee would say.

If I had my choice I would have picked Caila for sure. But the problem is I think she is to nice for TPTB. Jojo and her family of misfits as I call them remind me to much of wanna-be tv stars. Sorry but I know I won't be watching Jojo's season. She is the one who just always felt a little off in my book. Like TPTB were trying to push everyone into liking her. JMO

Thanks GA... No doubt JoJo will be an interesting lead, more Kardashian. Caila would have been more real. JMO...

I think JoJo will be a wonderful and spunky bachelorette. She is beautiful and guys will be falling over each other to get to talk to her. jmo

I find JoJo a lot more real than Caila. It surprised me really, since I wasn't expecting to like her when the season started.

For me it's just a matter of who I can relate to more, not who's real or fake. JoJo is a dominant woman and a guys' girl and I'm the complete opposite of that so I wasn't able to connect with her as well as the other women. Not that I'm so much like Caila but I was able to relate to her better in some ways. Lauren is probably the closest to my personality but she wasn't an option for the lead.
