My guess is that ABC/TPTB are filming or have filmed and intro package for Caila and they will  announce her as the next Bachelorette at the end of the WTA.  I think ABC would like a diverse Bachelorette and Caila is the best choice by a mile.  Before I made this post..I read through Caila's SM and she is getting lots of positive comments.  There are plenty of people who like Caila and she will be a good Bachelorette.  
I also read through MF's twitter and most of the negative comments are coming from the same people who keep posting repeatedly (read wackos).  I actually think MF would happily flip the bird at these folks.  He is not known as being an warm and fuzzy guy who lives his life to please others.

I think it's also important to remember that the amount of people who will actually not watch is a few hundred (or thousand, at most). That's nothing for a show which regularly draws 6-7 million viewers per week. Not to mention that Caila will be a huge draw to the Filipino community similar to how JPG attracted Latino viewers, so I doubt her ratings will be drastically lower than the past few seasons.

I watched Dana Weiss' (possessionista) periscope earlier and it was laugh out loud funny. She's not a fan either of Caila. She's hoping for JoJo as are most of the viewers from her periscope. Dana is really witty and my favorite line might have been "I would take Britt over Caila in a hot second." laugh out loud

Thanks for the heads up she has a periscope up! Possessionista is my spirit Animal. I love her reaction to Caila as the 'ette and I loved her talking about the bachelor baby boom - "guys, I think there's something in the water and I'm pretty that something is tequila. Everyone's pregnant, no one's married, it's crazy!". I almost want to watch Caila's season just for all the commentary.

I do see Jordan as more Jojo's type, and reinforces why I like Caila more I'm typically not into the jock contestants.

I doubt many guys would leave just because its Calia and not Jojo. Lets not forget these people sign up without knowing for sure who the Lead would be and the worst case scenario will be one or 2 leaving. Kaithlyn had people who votd against her pretend to love her. Didnt Ben vote for Britt?

Ben voted for Kaitlyn. It was Jared that voted for Britt and made it to f4.

I don't think that many guys are going to leave. I just wouldn't be suprised if they repeated Ashley Hebert's storyline of "a lot of the Guys wanted Emily or Chantal", because I do think Jojo appeals to a wider group of men. Not because she's hotter, because she has that typical "guys' girl", fun, sexy, laid-back, spunky personality that is conventionally popular. JMO.

I don't know that JoJo does appeal to a wider group of men. As I said before, all my male friends that watch the show...all of them!...prefer Caila to JoJo. Reading this thread, there are several other women whose husbands seem to feel the same way. I asked one of the guys why he likes Caila better because I really thought he would be more into JoJo since he usually likes the sexy bombshell types. He basically said the same thing that a couple of the members husbands said...she has a good body but he doesn't like her face. When I pressed him, he said she seems hard/tough and said she wouldn't be aging well. He also thought she was b*tchy. I was surprised to say the least.

In the end, I don't think it really matters. It's not like either of them is hideous. Whoever ends up as the lead...and I'm not just speaking about this season...is not found attractive by all the cast. People meet them IRL and they find they aren't all that. As long as there are those few who really like the lead, that is all that matters. The producers and editors will do the rest.

I highly doubt anyone would leave when they find out the lead is Caila, not JoJo. I've heard on many shows people loving Caila or not being so hot on JoJo. Caila is absolutely gorgeous, and not all guys prefer 'guys girls'.

I think a lot of guys would be interested in Caila so I also doubt anyone would leave

As I've posted before my husband and now my nephew also said he prefers Caila and Lauren's natural looking face and that Jojo gives off a "high maintenance, Real Housewives" vibe (their words not mine). They also asked whether Jojo tweaked her face cause they found her face unnatural.  This goes to show that it's different strokes for different folks.

I think if guys leave the show it's because their opinion of Caila has been heavily influenced by what they saw on social media postings and not because Caila is less attractive than Jojo.

To be honest, I was just neutral to Caila during the show but now I really want her to be the Bachelorette, part of it could be because I like rooting for the underdog.  The more I see her getting bullied via social media (mostly from Becca and Jojo fans) who are obsessed tweeting the same thing over and over again to Fleiss that Caila left her boyfriend for Ben, making it seem as if she has committed murder...now i just  want Caila to be the next Bachelorette.  I've grown to really like her since the hometown episode and wouldn't mind seeing her sweet family again.  After that particular episode aired I now understand why she is so happy all the time.

THIS! I feel exactly the same. It's like the unnecessary hate towards her make me want this to work out for her even more
