I agree. Also, since its with a Bollywood dance studio ( or something along those lines) maybe her "job" is to promote the company, either by doing another Bollywood style dance while the Bachette (kidding) or gaining more SM followers  (which she will do while on the show) for future SM  product promotion, which she could then do after the show.

The market data and sentiment re: likeability appear to strongly support JoJo but the timing and perhaps other factors appear to be in Caila's favor.

Both women are attractive, smart, fit, etc so it is almost like a choice between Too Soon to be Over Heartache vs Too young and Disingenuous..which obstacle is easier to fix and sell? Or, will the lead be mostly a supporting character in her own romance and it will be all about the men who are cast for her?

Hmmm....interesting news about Caila taking a job. She also chose to put it on Linkedin right away, which she didn't have to do. Maybe she was waiting to hear back if they chose her, and they didn't ! Lol, I still think it's her. But I will be happily shocked if Amanda walks out those doors on Monday

IMO, Becca and Amanda are not an option and aren't/weren't being heavily considered or they'd have been focused on more at the WTA.  The only options are Calia or Jojo or someone new altogether, unless they bring back someone a season or two removed (which I can't see happening), IMO.

I've thought it was Caila for a long time so no change there for me and I think she'll do a good job. Jojo has a lot of good qualities and could certainly pull it off but I still think she's a long shot since they seem to be filming so soon right after the ATFR plus announcing it there. I can't see them allowing her to seem okay with everything since they always highlight the f2 and how heartbroken they are, true or not. For me, her HTD changed my feelings on her somewhat. Her brothers seemed so "reality" driven that it makes me question her a little.

Well Des' brother was just the same as JoJo's so I don't think that matters much.

It's so weird because Caila was super sad at the WTA, not the usual I'm sad but over it, ready to meet someone new. So a week later she's the bachelorette? And JoJo can't do it because she's too sad, but Caila was just too sad the week before. Doesn't make sense to me.

As far as I know, Des' brother didn't have a history with reality tv like Jojo's brother did, Duke. I wasn't saying that it would impact her being lead, just that my feelings about her changed.

I personally don't get the huge emphasis put on the fact that JoJo's brother was on reality TV. How does it automatically make her insincere that she was filmed for a couple of days 3 years ago for another show? If Mollie went on the Bachelor next season, would she be accused of playing a scripted role, because she was filmed for Lauren's HTD? What about all the returnees, whether leads or contestants? Are they all insincere because they've been on TV before? It just seems like a strange assumption to me. I remember one of the eliminated girls (not sure who) saying weeks ago that JoJo seemed the most into Ben out of everyone in the mansion. Lauren H said in that podcast linked to JoJo's thread that JoJo is pretty much perfect, just a special person. I just don't see any proof of the opposite.

Mollie wasn't trying for attention from what I could tell. Jojo's family, mostly the brothers, seemed like they were auditioning for a reality show. I like what I've seen of Jojo but that does make me wonder if she's working on the same thing. All JMO.

IMO, once the you have been/seen behind the curtain and seen the machinations of reality tv, it takes away the whole innocence of the scenario. 
So, IMO, it could be anyone involved in a subsequent reality tv stint. There is a saying--this is not my first rodeo. 
The first time around you are not really impacted by the frankenbyting, the things said at one time and aired out of sequence, the cue cards, the producer approaching you with some "suggestions", the leading questions. Then you go home and watch the show and the tricks come to life. So consequential times on a reality tv show, it would seem cast would know the ropes. 
That being said, could someone fall in love under those conditions, yes. Even Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas thought they were in deep like for a short time after their filming.

Well I didn't see it like that. It seemed to me that thanks to their previous experiences they know what BS this show is and they didn't want their little sister to get hurt. Ben was acting weird and giving them nothing, even the people on AfterBuzz thought that. Nick brought it up again this week, since he wasn't there to discuss it when it happened. Is it really that bad to be more concerned about your sister than appearing nice on TV? I don't think so.

I don't fault JoJo for her brother's actions or them being on a reality show. IMO producers told the brothers to act the way they did. I still find JoJo to be real and genuine. Carly was on her brother's hometown date, and then went on the show. I think people liked her (until she got all mean girl on Britt but that didn't have to do with her brother).
