Yeah, he said it more than once with both women. JoJo said ILY and he replied, "JoJo, I love you too" and she said, "What???" She was shocked. It was cute.

OR what if the phone call was him asking her parents permission to get engaged to her as nothing of that sort was seen during HTD. Just another thought, especially when he says just because I love her that much.

Not sure if some of these posts are from the West Coast but East Coast showing of this episode Ben's dates were: Caila, Lauren and JoJo. So he told Lauren he loved her before JoJo and as he was waiting for JoJo he said "if I can't resolve my feelings for JoJo (para-phrasing) I will have to let her go because it wouldn't be fair to her." Then she arrives and I guess he realized he loved JoJo. What if when one of them finds out about the ILYs to the other one, they want to leave? And he says in the previews "because that's how much I love her" well sounds like he may have "owned up to his MISTAKE to F1 (whoever that is) and she forgave him. Anyway, just saw that several posts said JoJo was first date and overnight but not where I live JoJo was. Interesting they would show a different order from one on one coast and another on the opposite coast.

It was shown the same on both coasts—Caila, Lauren, JoJo—but was filmed in November—Caila, JoJo, Lauren.

JoJo was his 2nd date as the actual filming took place in Jamaica.  As they edited and aired the episode TBTB chose to mix up the order and put Lauren 2nd even though she was filmed 3rd.

^ I'm on the West Coast too and they showed Caila, Lauren and then Jojo. When the posts mention JoJo being first, it's about hers being in the order it was filmed. Most of the dates aren't always showed in filming order to give more of that drama feel. Like tonight!

I think they may have put Lauren first so it feels like that maybe it was more meaningful and genuine since the audience sees it as the first person he said it to. Also, it would give off the vibe that JoJo is getting in the way of the relationship between Lauren and Ben which is why also in episode 7 they put Lauren's date first and then JoJo's IMO so you see that after the amazing time these two spend with each other, JoJo gets in the way and it is almost as if Ben is 'cheating' on Lauren. By always showing Lauren first it's kind of showing that she is first place in his heart.

So what's worse, a F1 has Bachelorette sleeping with another guy before FSD or a F1 has Bachelor tell you & someone else that he "loves you" AND possibly sleeping with them too!? leaving the lead getting skewered all over Twitter! I mean dé·jà vu

Oh Ben, you were doing so well too The multiple ILYs all felt a bit hollow to me tbh, he seemed out of it the entire episode.

He really messed up big time, no wonder he said that he was looking for somebody that offered grace, 'cause he's going to need that right now for sure.

OMG that was painful to see!!!! I think he looked so ashamed with Lauren (maybe only in my head considering he says Jojo once again that he loves her in next episode). OMG…. I can't watch another one...

Sean wrote on twitter that he is not sure Ben knows what love means… hm… isn't he the one saying he was in love with both but a lot of people couldn't believe that was true… I think we just got our answer...
