The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 9 - Discussion - #2 *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I can't believe I stopped binge watching Fuller House for 2 hours so I could watch this episode

I just re-watched the previews for the FRC.
It seems like Jojo is in brighter light.
It seems like Lauren is in a softer glow.
Would that make Lauren later? I think so, but not sure.
Both are riding in the same(or basically the same) helicopter. The same little no smoking emblem is over each girl's right shoulder. The color on the inside at least appears the same.
Anyone else rewatch thepreviews?

I think part of the reason Ben has felt most at ease with Jojo is because she's been at ease with the cameras since night one. They even edited her as the shrink of sorts. He obviously developed feelings, ILY's even, but it's easy being with the cool chick or the cool guy. They're "cool" for a reason, and that reason is not always in your best interest. JMO Compatibility post show is something they don't have.


Definitely noticed the edit of Lauren saying it's possible to love 2 people and Jojo making bitchy faces into her champagne flute I have absolutely no doubt about the F1 being Lauren. Nor sure if he'll come clean Des style before he proposes, but my guess is he will.

Yeah, I bet it was.  

Wow.  Ben is soooo SELFISH and imo he sucks.  I realize that this is a TV show but but these are real women with real feelings.  The expressions on both JoJo and Lauren's faces after he said ILY to them and the confidence they gained as he said it over and over again is just heartbreaking.  If you love people you don't rip their hearts out. I think Caila is the lucky one that she got dumped without the ILY back and the assurances she was the one.  At this point I feel more sorry for the F1 than the F2.  One is going to be blindsided in the most horrible way at the FRC and I'm sure will be devastated.  But the other one has been engaged to this TOOL and has just been humiliated on national TV.  There is no way Ben was ready to get engaged to either one of these lovely women.  I think Ben is mostly in Love with Ben and little ben.  I have very little doubt that Ben did the deed with all 3 of his FS picks.  Ben needs to grow up.  He does not seem ready to commit to one woman.  So much for Ben 10 more like Ben minus-100.  He deserves all the blowback he is going to receive. Poor Lauren and JoJo.
I look forward to seeing Caila as the next Ette.
All of the final 3 women are class acts and they deserve way better than Ben.  "Like" a man who knows they are his one and only without a doubt.  
Maybe when Ben grows up he will become a better man.  I hope he learns something about himself from this experience.

On a funny note, I can't wait to see Jimmy Kimmel do this episode in emojis.

IMO, Lauren doesn't seem to be a sweet girlfriend, she wants to be the Queen, be pleased and validated. I can see how tough it could be for the Bachelor, considering the process is emotionally draining. And she has been playing the hard to get game from the start, been dancing in circle the whole time. One day she could see herself with Ben, another day she is terrified and want more validation. This cycle has been repeating the whole season!!! If I were Ben, I will be annoyed too!!

All my opinions.

We just saw Ben profess his love for both JoJo and Lauren. According to him, he's in love with two women, but he gets annoyed when Lauren questions where she stands with him? Everyone else has the right to ask for validation but Lauren?

Hmmm, well Ben dropped the "L" bomb so many times that I lost count. As for a link, someone named AnnMarie uploads it on You Tube tomorrow. Not sure if she is from this group. If so,

Wow, Fleiss & Co warned me but they definitely did not prepare me for that! Poor Jo. and Lauren. and Ben. I mean.... I can't even articulate right now. I actually cried for Jo (I'm too sensitive I know) but she just looked so happy my heart ached for her.   She seems ok now. So does Lauren. We shall see.

One thing I think about is that one of these girls likely still loves Ben and it has to be very rough having people rip your boyfriend to shreds. Either Lauren or Jojo may have completely accepted that he fell for both girls but loved one more and chose her. As Catherine Lowe once said, he wasn't mine until he put a ring on my finger so what happened before needs to stay in the past. This could be a binding event for them: "whatever doesn't kill you makes your stronger, etc"

Lauren and JoJo seem like friends and it doesn't look like there is any bad blood there so that's a good sign
