Hmm I wonder how many alums are going to be there? So far it sounds like more than the usual. Normally most of the alums present are from the existing season or the immediate past season. Why so many? Maybe it's the extra something CH has up his sleeve is why so many are going.

They always have alums in the audience.

I watched her eyes more than anything - she's looking down but her eyes are too. When someone's eyes look upwards it often means they are thinking and retrieving information they have seen or heard (accessing their memory) and she is not doing that in this clip. She's giving a relatively complicated bit of narrative and may actually be reading from a cue card and just has to keep looking at it. Thus little emotion - she's not speaking "personally" from her inner feelings.

This is just your opinion, correct? Because I don't know how you could possibly know for sure that JoJo was not speaking personally from her inner feelings.

Thanks for that! IMO, Ben's voiceover sounds incredibly scripted. His voice sounds different, and not in an emotional, raw feeling kind of way.

The dramatic music puts bold and the beautiful to shame.
