The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 9 - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Have I got this right: Ben says ily to both JoJo and Lauren but the ily's we see in the preview are both for Lauren. He let's Caila go and the big drama about it is, that it happened before the RC, when Caila went to visit Ben to get some ~validation.

This is it in a nutshell?

The write up indicates that Caila goes to see Ben after all the dates are complete

So the green shorts behavior would be the result of Cailas visit

It's a bit mysterious why they haven't shown us Ben's possible JoJo love confession. Maybe it takes Ben longer to say it to her? Maybe holding back to hype up the finale.
The way I see it though is, and if they are going for max impact:
Saying ILY to Lauren, well, we are all expecting that. And so when it finally happens many are not surprised and it's rather anti-climatic, however sweepingly romantic.
But if/when he confesses to JoJo, some may be pleasantly surprised at the "depth of his feelings" as the presser suggests.

There is a new preview of Ben and LB on the bachelor Facebook/ Twitter page. It's super cute and includes baby turtles I would bring it over but can't get the link to copy for some reason.

It is cute, I gotta say! A bonding experience. It does look like a "busy" activity, though.
If Lauren is F1, I want to see some serious discussion and both of them to get carried away in the moment.
I don't think I'm the only one that feels like Lauren is possibly a little too aware of the cameras during this clip. It just feels a little awkward to me, kind of like some of their interactions in Warsaw where she's being a bit reserved and perhaps playfully pulling away from Ben.

I am so jealous. I want to wash some baby turtles! Soooo cute!

I went back and watched it again to see if I could see what you do but just don't, agentcurls. Lauren was so excited to be able to help the baby sea turtles (who wouldn't be?) and it just didn't seem awkward to me.

I do hope we see them talking later but it's hard to say what they'll show us. The dates lasts for a very long time and we just snippets.

The synopsis says they have a serious talk after the activity.

I really think the 2 ILYs are said this week. I think the other one is to JoJo but for some reason they haven't shown it to us or as some speculated it will have to narrated in as it as said in the room after the cameras left (mics never leave).

^she did seem excited, IA. And it's kind of a dream date.
It's just that Lauren always seems "on"....it's just a feeling I get. But it could be she isn't as at ease with a camera in her face.
