The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 9 - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Looking at the SCs again .. It is also noticeable about his body language while kissing each of them .. Lauren .. Fully enveloped in the water/holding her shoulders .. JoJo .. Arm by his side at the falls .. Caila .. Area at his side on the bed .. Interesting

Lauren .. The doubt is creeping in .. Her arc is on the rise to plateau ..

I'm thinking she says "why did you tell me you loved me?" That seems to be what Ben's blog, the preview and the press release seem to imply.  If the 2 ILYs are Lauren and that, then I change my opinion that it was all much ado about nothing and a producers story and Ette audition ala Andi for Caila.
 

It would seem dumb to then go into a finale with 2 different girls, not the 2 he said ILY to, so really bad storytelling if that's the case IMO but the typical F3 drama.  How do they promote the finale if the second girl he said he loves has already left at F3?  That would be weird.   And I'll want Jojo for the Bachelorette even that much more.

Yes, It could be she asks him why did you tell me you love me and he answeres "I do love U". He has the same clothes on as after Laurens date while saying that right? If Laurens date was last it will suit with that one girl came to his place after the last date and something shocking then took place.

That could fit!

The latest SCs in the water of Ben and Lauren look like a different date than the kiss behind the water fall from the very first preview?

Could that be the LCD?

The waterfall one is definitely from the LCD.

I'm thinking Ben says ILY to JoJo while they're making out in the rainforest and that's why it's not shown in the previews. They couldn't cut JoJo out of the frame or make the location unrecognisable. But you would think JoJo would say it first, which would mean that the ILY over dinner wasn't the first one.

But they showed that make out session already in the first episode so there would be no reason not to show that I love you or? I don't think he said it there. I believe he said it in the FS (off camera) IF he said it to Jojo. I`m starting to believe he only said it to Lauren and Caila and the rest is hype… But then again that doesn't fit the FRC when he said " I love another one…more"… Probably he said it to 3 persons then… Hm… Or both shown times to Lauren and the Jojo behind doors…

But it could fit. He could be shown as confused over loving two women without having said ILU to both of them - that is, after all, how the show usually is played out when the lead hasn't said ILU to anyone yet.

For what it's worth I always believed the "I do love you" shown in the preview was less a statement of love and more had a "but" or some sort of qualifier that was edited out.

They couldn't show who he's saying it to in the previews, so if it's in the middle of a makeout session then they wouldn't show it. That's why they used those two clips where you can't see the woman he's saying it to, and I still think they're both said to Lauren. The one in the morning sounds like he's just reassuring her before leaving. It was already sleuthed that it took place at the pool area of Lauren's FS, so why would Caila be there? I think he meets Caila when he's wearing the green T-shirt and I don't think he says ILY to her. I think by that time he's already said it the other two and he figures no point dragging Caila along any further, so he dumps her. She has some Bachette audition meltdown and that's it. I don't think it's any more complicated than that. JMO.
