The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 5 - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Oh Ben .  "The Bachelor:  polyamory"

I thought they showed him saying ILY to two women, though obviously not which women, since it's weeks away. But maybe it was to the same woman on both occasions. He did say those things before the RC though.

They also showed someone leaving in a limo and Ben crying about how he feels like he'd made the biggest mistake of his life or whatever. That was at the FRC, so I don't think he let anyone go ahead of time. It was confusing though.

Ben looked sad when they showed the preview about him being in love with two women. I do believe he sends Jojo home before the FRC because in one of the previews there's a scene of him saying to it looks like Jojo, "the only way to get over heartbreak is to fall in love again." I just hope him and Lauren are okay and he doesn't pull a Jason

He was talking to each girl. He even told his parents he was in love with two girls.

When he said that "heartbreak" speech was on JoJo's 1 on 1 in Vegas. They never showed it in the episode though.

At least that preview will give us something to sleuth!

I don't think Ben fell in love with anyone. With Lauren, so far, it seems just like infatuation. What do they even know about each other? With Jojo, it seems purely physical. I think that Ben/Lauren had a good foundation to fall in love post-filming, but I really don't believe that they were truly in love back then.

The love you was to someone wearing a gold watch. Did not show the person he's saying the I'm in love with and have been for sometime.

Well if Jason and Sean said it, maybe this bodes well for him .

They show him saying "I do love you," to one girl and "I'm in love with you and have been for awhile," to another. IDK, seems like a bit of a distinction to me, but on the after show he did say he fell in love with both of them, so who knows. Sean told Lindsay that he loves her and he and Catherine are married, so as long as Ben's been honest with Lauren about everything that happened with Joelle I think they'll be fine. Did CH say that something happens in the finale that's never happened on the Bachelor before? If so, I wonder if maybe Ben does send JoJo home the morning of the FRC (he's seen shutting the door on the limo, and usually doesn't the F2 walk themselves back alone and CH is the one to put them in the limo?), which would be a first on the Bachelor.

Are we sure he says it on the show to two different girls? Or could it be same girl two different times? He could be covering now and saying he fell in love with both. I can't watch it until tomorrow at the earliest.

Even if they all end up single, they won't be for long they are all well spoken, good looking people with a lot of life before them ( I hope). They will survive this.
