I find this interesting. I think men are better able to read how other men respond to a woman and can tell which one they are attracted to without second guessing themselves. Does your husband know Becca from last season? Did he think she was attractive then?

I have a male friend who watches with his wife and he is unspoiled....although I have tried to teach him about how the show works to manipulate and edit. At first he though it would be Olivia based on how Ben acted the first night. (He quickly changed his mind.) He now also thinks it will be Lauren. When I asked him what he thought about Ben and Becca, he said that Ben didn't seem happy to see her when she first arrived. After their date, he said that Ben may like her but doesn't think he is really into her.

I just wonder if fans who watch the show...unspoiled...are invested in Becca, not just because they like her, but because of what happened last season with Nick?

I think that most viewers see their favorites and wish for them to be the one. If there's chemistry, they stick to initial wish/hope.
In regards to Becca, she returned to the show with a huge fan base and they want her to be the one having also a sympathetic hope because she was F2 and now here's her second chance at love.

I have a friend from another country (not English speaking) who watches the show, he is unspoiled. He also correctly called Lauren the winner telling that Ben and her have a lot in common, he is like her father and so on...

My hubby is also unspoiled and only watches the odd bits while I am cutting the epis and he saw Lauren H 1-1 time, then Caila 1-1 time at the GD CP then Lauren's at the same spot and thought that he was obviously more into Lauren B. I asked why and he said she' the only one he actually talked to properly and that guys can kiss as much as they want, but when they are really keen, they'll dig. Plus when Ben said "Don't!" so strongly (when she said she was having s doubts) he said "see!".

He hasn't seen their 1-1 date BTW.
(Oh he also said Olivia gives him the creeps)

He described her (Lauren B) as "cute" and not over the top beautiful. He thinks Caila is nice but not for "this guy"

This is exactly why I want a male opinion when watching this show! They don't care about the music, romance, hand dances, etc. They just see the connection. They can pick up who another guy lusts after without over thinking/complicating things and trying to justify the behaviour. It's like they just zero in on the primitive.

I don't know whats worse a whole date of listening to Amanda's baby voice or an entire episode of Olivia not shutting up.

Olivia definitely 100% should never have said the Teen Mom comment out loud but I totally understand WHY that tv show popped into her head. That is exactly what those shows sound like. I mean I haven't seen that particular show, but I have seen 16 and Pregnant and the young moms complain to their friends that their baby's daddy didn't pick up their kid when he was supposed to and then their mom had to go get the baby.... But Olivia wasn't actually calling Amanda herself a teen mom which is of course what the girls interpreted. 

Of course she hurt Amanda's feelings but I've come to realize that I don't think she was born with a filter between her brain and her mouth and "can't help" the dumb stuff that comes out. I kind of felt sorry for her because I really don't believe she meant it maliciously.

Olivia has put herself in a tough spot, cause sometimes she says something to get at the other ladies a bit, so when she says seemingly innocent stuff, it gets taken as a shady dig. Teen Mom is filled with immature dysfunctional girls with anger and addiction issues, so there's no way Amanda won't take it as an insult. I wish Amanda wouldn't talk about her ex on the show though, IMO it's unfair and tells only one side of the story. Plus it opens the doors for the ex to talk in the public too.

Plus why was the first thing Olivia thought of was Teen Mom. What Amanda was describing unfortunately happens often at any age with divorcees and parenting.
