I don't think there's any shame on TPBP in this case. In the end he's there to hopefully find a life long partner, how does he do that if he doesn't connect with the girls and make an effort? It sucks for the other girls at the time, but if he wants to get to know LaurenB or any of the other girls a bit better, he just has to do that. Should TPBP tell him not spend any time with Lauren?
