Yeah, I wasn't a fan of Ben's blog yesterday. It was pretty rude, and Lauren and Jubilee won the cooking contest, so they must have worked fine together. I love Jezebel's posts on the show and they nail what Ben failed to recognize:

I think Mollie ought to be able to give her location.... just sayin'. She's not the "public" personality. And while she's often with her sister, they're not always together.

I question whether Ben is actually writing the blog.

I thought it was dumb that Ben wrote how Amanda looks so great, wouldn't mind waking up...LOL it's obvi the producers told her Ben was coming early, so she got ready. DUH. Surprise Ben, girls don't (usually) wake up with hair/makeup done. I guess he was just being nice...

She even tweeted out that she does not normally wake up like that, so...

I don't know if that's just Ben being a guy and not knowing what makeup looks like or what. It is kind of funny that Britt did the same thing and got so much criticism and **edited** Amanda really does look like that.

Even if Ben doesn't write the blog and played a role on BL show then either way the show and TPTB are wanting to sell a perception to viewers about contestants - positive or negative.

It is pretty much that Olivia and Jubilee are seen more negatively and that is how it has been spun on BL and the blogs. Olivia is mocked and Jubilee was said to not be a good fit for the show or for Ben and painted that way in the blog and on BL.

Becca in contrast seems to be painted as more positive by TPTB, for a returnee especially, was polled #1 on BL the first episode of BL and then for the last episode of BL was again the first girl mentioned for winning Ben's heart. They have seemed to make a point of bringing her up again on that show for each episode and having her as someone to match Ben (on paper makes sense as well so I can see why).

They also have made a point of painting Amanda in a positive light and almost defending her being a single mom and Ben's blog did the same.

I wonder what or who is going to be the drama/negative slant once Olivia leaves?

I believe I mentioned this the other day. Please be aware when using the phrase some people, be specific on who you mean by some people, otherwise I edit the post. It doesn't tell me if it's being referred to as posters here, Social Media people, me, who exactly are some people. Thanks.

I think he was just trying to be nice, he's not gonna point it out that she was obviously having make-up on, it would be an unnecessary comment. Or maybe ABC added that in the blog post while editing to spice it up
