I think she was saying that they had talked about her stepping in to help him finish the show if he wasn't feeling it with anyone else. She started to explain it and (I thought) realized she couldn't say that they were going to fake it. Seemed like something that they were just half joking about. I thought she seemed supportive. Maybe she was trying to set the record straight from past misquotes, but even with a radio interview, the tabloids twisted it into a story that sells the most magazines.

I heard her as supportive as well and to be honest, I don't think Ben would date a b!tchy girl for a year and a half. If she was, he likely would've figured it out by then.

Ok, serious question: Am I the only one who sees this?

What a difference between reading it & listening to it! She doesn't sound bitchy at all. She def. sounded supportive and half joke. Apparently they saw each other before he went on the show. I think while maybe when they broke up, it was hard on him, the two seem to be at a good place with no hard feelings. Though I think if it didn't work out with any of the girls, perhaps down the road a few years later it could work. I can see from her standpoint why she broke up with him. She's very young and he's very young.

Yeah, she sounded supportive in the interview. She doesn't seem very bright though. I know that it was sleuthed here over the summer, that they were hanging out/in the same location. They're obviously on positive terms. I don't know if he likes/or even cares that she's talking to the media though.

I finally listened to the Bachelor Party podcast with Ben. He really is such a normal intelligent speaker. I love it. Honestly, even though I love he and Lauren together, I do agree with Juliet and Sportygal on her being 'meh'. She seems very nice, and normal, and classy (in terms of the show), but she IS kind of just 'there'. She doesn't seem very fun or funny, like they said. But it could be that she's just too reserved to let that out on the show/or we're just not seeing it.

I don't think the radio interview was the source, since she didn't mention anything about Ben's HS gf cheating on him there. Unless that part was totally made up by the mag. The fact that she's already talked to at least 3 media outlets says it all to me. If she was really as supportive as she claims, she wouldn't have talked to any.

She seemed to have had fun at Coachella.  Maybe to much fun??...

You don't have to be fun or funny to have one too many drinks to get arrested though..

Lauren seems pretty funny to me. There was some nice banter going on between her and Ben. When she saw the little plane she said something like "You remember when I said I was up for anything? Well..." and then she asked Ben if he could drop her off at the mansion because she misses it. She also made me laugh while imitating the conversation with her dad. That's already more humour than we see from most contestants during the whole season, since TPTB like to cut out all discussions that don't revolve around the state of their feelings for one another.

Actually, now that I think about it... I think its just cause she's too mellow. So, she really IS Ben 2.0, I guess
