Becca Tilly - Bachelor 20 - #3 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Simply put, Becca has a huge fanbase on all SM. It's no surprise that some people feel that she should be bachelorette or is liking her as they are. Becca comes across as a normal, likeable young woman.

On the other hand, some might view her as being clueless about what she really wants in a man but savvy to know that the exposure on the show has given her more coverage than any man has thus far

Here is how they COULD change it, IMO:

JoJo-She's F2, and unless they move the filming schedule and don't announce the next lead on the live ATFR, it won't be her.
Caila-It appears that she may have rubbed some people the wrong way based on RS' word association.
Amanda-Single mom of not one, but TWO kids. The show has never had a lead be a single parent with two kids. And not to mention, her kids are extremely young. Don't know if a lot of viewers would be "all in" with Amanda as the next lead, given her situation. Plus, she is a single mom because of a divorce. It's not like her husband tragically passed away.

I'm going by what history tells us in how they pick The Bachelorette.

I get that some like Becca but I don't see it. She wouldn't be a good lead and I think it would be a harder sell since I can't picture many of the guys cast be all in on dating a virgin who has never been in love.

History--they wanted the public to believe Arie had a chance. They picked Sean who was indicated to be the next lead with his f3 formula the season before. 
Did the same with Chris S.
Did the same with Ben. 
Rumor mill had these prior to their first season even aired.
They try to follow the same formula with the women--nothing new.

Just to add:

The only reason I found it interesting that Cat tweeted that about Becca is because Ben's season is being likened to Sean's (stated by CH himself on Bachelor Live where, coincidentally Becca was drafted as F1 in their poll).

Of course Cat can't say who the real F1 is, but Cat even choosing to tweet that about Becca specifically, who is a returnee and a virgin (similar to Sean's born-again virgin status when Cat was on his season) and say, "Good call" to Ben, imo, is actually going along with what Sean's season was about.

Plus, it provides a narrative and gives Cat's followers an idea of who Cat thinks Ben should choose. Cat could have tweeted that about ANY of the girls (non-F1) but she chose to tweet that about Becca. Considering that Cat is the only F1 to marry her Bach lead, I say that is a pretty positive endorsement from Cat regarding Becca 2.0.

Cat also most likely knows who Ben picks since Sean knows. It's not like she can spoil it episode one with an endorsement of another girl. In a few episodes I'm sure she will have plenty to say about the others.

Becca is like Kacie B on Sean's season but lasting a few more episodes. Everyone went on and on how they were perfect on paper and Sean wanted something totally different. That's how I think Ben will be similar to Sean and not pick the perfect-on-paper girl instead following his heart. Becca is the only contestant anyone really knows so saying she is perfect for Ben I think is actually a bad thing.

Still don't see how one tweet from a former F1 is such a big deal. It's not like Ben or one of the producers posted some glowing tweet about Becca.

Bottom line is, she could have posted that tweet about someone else.

IMO, her posting that someone other than Becca is perfect for Ben would be FAR more negative than a tweet about Becca being perfect for Ben.  

Imo, Cat tweeting "Why is Becca back?!" would have done the trick if it was meant to be a negative towards Becca.

So to me, I don't see the logic that Cat would tweet that about Becca and it be negative.

If anything, if Becca continues to be a fan fave for Ben by viewers then her leaving won't make viewers dislike Becca or see her in a negative way since Cat tweeted she is perfect for him and he let her go. It could backfire actually.

Pretty sure in the grand scheme, nobody will remember that tweet. I would hardly consider it an endorsement.

Yeah, next week, when it's Caila's date, cat will probably be pointing out that Caila looks just like her and should end up with Ben/Sean 2.0. It's way to soon for any of this to mean anything, when no one knows the other girls.

In the grand scheme, this show doesn't even matter.

Merely posting what is being said by an F1 to a lead (Sean) who is the ringing endorsement for this franchise when it comes to Bachelors and marrying their F1.
