Becca Tilly - Bachelor 20 - #3 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

As I said before, I really think she has a good chance at being the next lead, despite not finishing in the top 4. Not only is she classy, sweet, and gorgeous, but she has a large fan base/following, will have the support of certain people in the media/Whitney/Kaitlyn (barf), and her season would be a great counterbalance to the bunny ranch season last year.

Based on the two *in* with the show mags, People Mag and Us Weekly, it seems that Becca is getting a positive response and considering she doesn't even get a HTD, that's pretty good for media coverage for a returnee.  

I always expected Becca to get good media coverage and to be an exception to other returnees media-coverage-wise and so I am not surprised that this seems to be the case.

For a returnee, I still think as I posted long ago, that Becca will gain more followers and more people like her from this season.

She already has gained more followers as a returnee than any of the newcomers - well over 20K in addition to her already 400+ thousand followers and has an overall positive response by Bachelor Live and media/social media and alums like Catherine Lowe (F1 to Sean's season which Ben's season has been likened to).

All in all, I don't see it being a negative thing at all that Becca returned.

The other girls haven't even had a chance to build a fanbase... This is why I don't want any returnees coming back again. As I said about Nick last season, I don't need a third season of Becca.

This is not about Nick. And doesn't relate at all since he wasn't on the show from the start and came on as a villain.

Only posted to give evidence to show that Becca is getting a lot of positive response and media coverage from shows that have an *in* (Us and People mag) and that her fanbase is growing.

And her fanbase is growing based on more by people liking her and  really wanting her to win (Becca got highest % votes on Bachelor Live).

That in itself is something which never happened for Nick so it's a moot comparison, imo.

Plus, even Catherine Lowe tweeted that Becca is a perfect match for Ben.

That's putting out positivity for Becca by the only F1 that has ever married a Bachelor in this franchise... and Cat's tweet got the most faves and RTs.

All of this shows me, that like Becca or not, the evidence suggests that Becca is getting a positive reception for a returnee.

They have always used a woman who finished in the top 4 as the next lead. I'm not sure why they would change that when they have 3 legit candidates this season.

For all the positive about her reappearance this season, I've seen plenty of negative too. I think that portion of the fanbase will become louder as the season goes on.

Here is how they COULD change it, IMO:

JoJo-She's F2, and unless they move the filming schedule and don't announce the next lead on the live ATFR, it won't be her.
Caila-It appears that she may have rubbed some people the wrong way based on RS' word association. I also don't believe that they've ever had a 24 year old lead.
Amanda-Single mom of not one, but TWO kids. The show has never had a lead be a single parent with two kids. And not to mention, her kids are extremely young. Don't know if a lot of viewers would be "all in" with Amanda as the next lead, given her situation. Plus, she is a single mom because of a divorce. It's not like her husband tragically passed away.

How does it not relate to Nick? They were both on the show twice for pretty much the same number of episodes. Nick may have been a "villain" but there was plenty of speculation he'd be the bachelor.

I'm going by what history tells us in how they pick The Bachelorette.

I get that some like Becca but I don't see it. She wouldn't be a good lead and I think it would be a harder sell since I can't picture many of the guys cast be all in on dating a virgin who has never been in love.

I hope they don't try to sell some BS about her falling in love for the first time on a reality show. I'll seriously scream.

I would easily bet a million imaginary dollars that Becca is never going to be the Bachelorette. And, honestly, any good friend or family member should tell her to run as fast as she can from this franchise. She's never going to find the kind of man she wants and needs here.

I wonder if the percentages on Bachelor Live are real. Maybe they are but it wouldn't surprise me if the results are manipulated and what TPTB want them to be.
