Becca Tilly - Bachelor 20 - #3 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Becca strikes me as a pretty girl who doesn't have much direction in her life, up until now has not been particularly ambitious, looked at appearing on this franchise as a "shortcut" to the next phase of her life (one that wouldn't require education or training), and who has now glommed on to the idea of becoming the Bachelorette and leveraging her fame/notoriety into some kind of money-making venture. I do think she was interested in Ben and would have been happy to have it work out between them, but if not, was definitely hoping, maybe even expecting, to become the next lead.

She, along with so many others in the same boat, would be better served to go back to school and/or look into developing some career interests that don't involve exploiting her "image". But these days, and with this generation, I guess going this route is becoming the norm.

It's so hard for me to see it as being obnoxious! I think if anyone didn't know what the quote meant, they would probably Google it because Becca just doesn't talk like that on Twitter or IG. She's just not a mean girl and she doesn't use profanity or attack followers,, even if they attack her. It would be very out-of-character of her. It seemed like everyone understood it because I looked through her comments and no one even mentioned it. It just seems harmless to me. Like when she calls Whitney her main bisch. JMO.

That's just it...I don't see it as obnoxious...even when I didn't know what the quote meant. I just see it as someone trying too hard to be something that she isn't.

I guess because it's from a kid's movie, it doesn't really strike me as anti-Becca. I think she's probably always been someone who's loved the home alone series and jokingly quoted it! I would see it as her changing if she suddenly starting quoting Judd Apatow movies and rapping, like Kaitlyn, but this just seems like same old Becca to me.

I don't think "same vest different color and VERSATILE AF is from a childrens movie.  Becca is definitely trying to show her obnoxious edge.  Her words per this forum....not mine.    JMO

Dr Chris Cupcake uses the "AF" lingo on his askfm, snapchats, and even on his IG.
I honestly think it's just nitpicking at this point with regards to Becca.

I'm not offended by Becca's captions but I'll definitely agree she tries too hard. I mean just look at the dress she wore to the M&G. Becca stop trying to be sexy.

She wore the same type of dress on CS's season - very short. Same style now as then. I didn't care for her style then or now when it comes to her "sexy" outfits - I don't think it is trying too hard as just not having good taste in what is "sexy" (not many do on this show). I prefer her in just jeans and casual clothes.

The thing is everyone here is entitled to their opinion be it good or bad in a discussion thread.

That can happen. Have yet to see that happen for myself personally but it may. I have the same nitpicking with Caila and if I am wrong on her then no sweat off my back... it really is just different strokes for different folks and justifications or reasons given for these different things - there's no right or wrong here.

I guess for me I don't see Becca as exactly the smartest girl and I don't see her as ambitious or anything. In fact, she herself has said she isn't exactly academically minded so to me, I guess that is why I just see this show and her as perfectly suited to the reality-TV/entertainment world and why I have higher hopes (and more side-eye) for those who are ambitious than just a stint or two on tv shows like this. Becca? Meh.

I don't have much of a problem with Becca at all, but I DO agree that the dress she wore on night 1 this season was too much.
