Some these recaps fill me with horror!

Hahaha you mean those others . I can agree with you with their fellow castmates on every episodes . The hip hop couple said to his pregnant partner that both of her and their baby will go to jail because she keeps hitting him .. Speaking of hormones playing that part on his woman . Lmao ...as you said you can't help but laugh at some point .

Just thought I'd clarify a few points... The hip hop couple that is expecting agreed to keep the pregnancy private during the show, but the husband told everyone during a counseling session. The wife felt betrayed - as you can imagine - and was hurt & angry. The husband has serious anger issues. They argued, she was yelling at him to get out of their bedroom and she slapped him. He didn't say that she slaps him on an ongoing basis.

This same man had a one night stand 10 years ago with one of the women on the show. Yes - 10 years ago. 

I didn't listen to any of Sugar Bear's latest revolting confessions to Mama June. I'm honestly shocked that Catherine is so excited that they are on the show and that she said she admires them so much.  

What were they fighting about? Didn't watch.

Can't believe I'm watching this.

C & S didn't look so good this week. Everyone had to confess something from their past that holds them back, then lug around rocks that reflected self pity, anger, shame, etc. That night they had to confront the issue, forgive the person who did it, then throw the rock/baggage away in the water.

Catherine's issue was that her sister used to call her pig, and her mother would make the sign language symbol for pig. She has body issues because of it, doesn't like to go on vacations that require wearing a bathing suit, and won't undress in front of Sean.

Sean's issue was that he lost people's money when his business failed and he feels guilty and ashamed.

Catherine had a confrontation with Ink and Sean didn't defend her. He stopped the conversation, but apparently C thought he ought to have said something to Ink.

That night after some heavy revelations in the forgiving-the-past exercise they went to their room and C brought up something (can't remember exactly) that S didn't feel like discussing so he walked out and said he was going to go downstairs and get drunk. C was pissed.

Catherine looked whiny and petulant and Sean looked unemotional and indifferent and uncommunicative.

Sorry, that's all I can remember.

It is interesting that they brought up Sean's past failure. I've always felt like that's why he's so obsessed with money now. I feel awful that Catherine had to deal with that from her family. Speaking from experience, Asian families are really tough when it comes to expectations and comments about weight. 

It does seem like Sean's go-to move is to just walk away from confrontations and fights, which just means that resentment and frustration builds. I do think he's a good guy overall, but he just sucks at communication. JMO.

Clip of the fight here, though I'm still unsure what Ink did to mock her. It seemed to escalate quickly.

Do we think Sean and Catherine are watching every week?

Reading the recaps and watching that clip make me happy I didn't even try to watch. Shudder...

Nice recap Scooby.  This was the 1st week that was not filled start to finish with shouting so that was a bonus.  Everyone had to deal with the darkest issue from their past in hopes of moving forward and letting go of the stuff that is weighing them down.  It was emotional and heavy for many of them.  As you can imagine from this show some folks had very tough stuff in their past.
Sean's issue was his failed business and the guilt and insecurities that came with it.
Catherine's issue was her sister always teasing her and calling her a pig as a kid. And her Mom who is a sign language interpreter signing the pig motion whenever her sister called her pig.  She said that this has given her serious body issues.  She does not like to be seen in a bathing suit and she feels bad because this affects vacation/beach time with Sean and how she see's her body.
Catherine and Ink got into an argument after the reveals and Catherine got very upset because she felt Sean did not defend her. Drama and hurt feelings ensued.
As the episode ended and everyone had gone to their rooms for the night, Sean and Catherine got into an angry confrontation.  Sean stormed out of the room to go downstairs and get drunk and sleep on the couch. Almost immediately Catherine ran after him yelling.  The episode ended there so presumably will start with this drama next week.  Of course all this was subtitled.
This episode was quite real and raw.  Tough stuff.

Yikes, I was kind of surprised by that exchange. If their subtitles are to be believed, the cameras weren't in their room but the mics picked up:

Cat: "Like, who are you?"
Sean: "What are you talking about?"
Cat: "You're acting as if nothing happened."
Sean: "I'm gonna go f#$&^*$ get drunk downstairs like I planned." *walks out*
Cat: "You're an idiot."

I don't know what that was about but something tells me I'm #teamCatherine on this one .

I never knew Sean was a drinker. Interesting. I also think name calling is one of the worst things you can during fights. Even if you're angry, you should treat each other with respect.
