If he didn't open his mouth I would have no problem with them doing the show.  Just Zip it, let the show air, take the backlash and move on.

I agree.  I did respect the honesty of admitting he did the show for money, even if I personally find the idea of doing something you are hesitant about solely because of money distasteful. But now, IMO, with the ongoing attempted damage control, he's just digging a bigger hole for himself.  You did the show, there will be backlash, put your big boy pants on and ride it out, and it will pass.  

Along those same lines, he said in an interview that it whether or not he regrets doing the show will depend on how they're portrayed.  You'd think that the money alone should make it worthwhile, not to mention the therapy.  And if it did indeed "strengthen their marriage" then that should trump a negative portrayal, no?   Looking at this in reverse would mean a stronger marriage was not worth the backlash.

He needs to keep his evangelism in Dallas and off of TV. I don't for a minute think that Catherine shares that aspect of her supposed new faith.

The problem I have is all those Sean is trying to "save" he is no better than and yet he thinks he is. If anything I think he is worse since he said he didn't need MBC for his marriage, and only for the money. Well, maybe someone else could have benefited from the money AND the show much more.

Imo, Sean's whole self-righteous/Saviour complex is nothing more than him acting like he can save these other couples on the show by his testimony or whatever as he blogged/tweeted. The thing is, a true testimony is how you live your life with your actions, not what you say.
And with Sean, his actions show he values money above all else since it seems he lives his life saying one thing and doing another and only afterwards pretending regret while banking the cash.

Is that really worth it, though? To spend your whole life pretending like your husband is more intelligent and capable than you just so you can land a hot ex-football player? I do think she's kind of faking, or at least, exaggerating her faith, but I also remember reading Sean's book and thinking that Catherine has changed quite a bit because of Sean. He talked about how Catherine's dream had always been to move to NYC and be a graphic designer, but he wanted to live in Dallas, so she's not doing that. He talked about how she had been vegan for years, but because he thought that eating meat was the healthiest way to eat and protein was important, she's no longer doing that. He talked about how it was important to have a religious wife, so Catherine starting going to church and got baptized for him. He wanted to do DWTS, so she quit her job and followed him to LA. Sean seems to always get what he wants, so who's really playing who here?

I see it that way too, nothatgirl. Throw in some bedroom issues and I'd be running to MBC too. #freecatherine 

No offense but the talking of religion and telling she is faking it is just ridiculous to me . You can trash talk anything about them with your opinions **edited** her being Christian and accusing she is faking it. Sorry I just have to voice out about it . Jmo.

I mean, is it worth it to me? Yeah, no. Especially with the added revelation that the fiance stuff is bad on top of all this. 

Is it worth to Catherine? I guess so! I don't think I'm making it up that she talked on the show about never thinking she's pretty enough to land a hot guy like Sean? And what about the story with her dad and attempted suicide? That kind of trauma must leave a mark on a young girl.

If Sean truly regrets going on the show maybe he can be a "blessing" and give the money to those who are in need and who truly need it?

Perhaps donate to the charity organization that Ben H works with and has raised money along with Elan?

But honestly, I don't see Sean as someone who would bother doing that.

And the thing is, Elan has probably raised more money and awareness for causes and those in need consistently than Sean has.

It is certainly okay for Sean and Catherine to state their beliefs and opinions.  It is up to each person to make up their own mind of what they believe.

He is supporting charities but most of them are private . And mostly local private charities and it is also goes to cat . They are not doing what the other formers way of plugging the charities they have chosen on the sm but they do a lot of supporting private small charities . Just saying .

It's always "private" support/charity.
I just don't buy that at all for the public figures who use public means to get money for themselves but not for others.

^ No what I mean it is not really like those type of charities that other supporting. He mostly involved in local charities that he usually posting on his ig and Twitter but not always doing it but he does . Recently he posted about the long time small charity he is been supporting based in Dallas . That is the pediatric cancer and tried to raise fund on his birthday. Cat supports two feet charity and for sure there are others .
