They prefer to keep their good deeds and day jobs closer to the vest, and share their marital woes and bedroom issues on national TV. Amirite?

They sure keep them real close to the vest!
Maybe if they got paid enough $$$ they would let those things be public as well?

I can believe that Sean is involved with charity privately. I remember that, while Emily's season was airing, he did do something very quietly in his hometown and RS released it, saying that he had heard Sean didn't want it to come out. I know someone who knows the Lowe family through Sean's mother and she's said that Sean is the least religiously conservative of the family and has always kind of stood out from everyone else in that way.

Sean sits on the board of a pediatric cancer charity. For his birthday this year he set out to raise money for them. For their wedding they asked for donations to charities instead of gifts. For the Ice Bucket Challenge they teamed up with Elan do donate I think $2000 to the ALS foundation. There are various other private things I know they've done.

I was being a tad facetious.  I don't think it's a stretch at all that they support some charities privately without announcing it on SM.

I remember that. She said she was made fun of for being "chubby" which is crazy to me. Of the two I actually think she's the one who's the babe and she definitely has more sex appeal than Sean does.

I don't watch the show. Was this revelation there or somewhere else?

Maybe that article explains why Catherine looked so nervous she was ready to throw up when the "sexually satisfied" question came up on the Newlywed Game.  Perhaps they dodged a bullet when they weren't featured?

Anyone else think the timing of this pregnancy announcement is awfully convenient? I just wonder if they wanted to wait until she was further along, but then they got some backlash for MBC and Sean was like "Quick, let's tell them about the baby!". Smart move to announce it before any more of their dirty laundry is aired.

What makes you think they wanted to wait?

Anyone that is expecting a child usually waits until the first trimester to make any announcements which is where Catherine is at right now. IMO they are not concerned about using this news to take the focus away from MBC using their child to protect themselves IMO is something a criminal would do or someone who has mental problems. They are enjoying the excitement in finally letting everyone know. This is no different than any normal human being. Expecting a child is the most joyous occasion between parents and they are rightfully enjoying this moment.

On another note,  please leave the baby out the conversation if it isn't in a positive manner.
