What do you mean by the bolded?  Also, I remember last season when the same claims about Nick hooking up while he was supposedly was broken hearted by Andi were floating around and Ali addressed the rumors on her E news cast.  

Just that I was one of the people that thought that he might have moved on and was already in a relationship and that's what was causing the tension from Kaitlyn. I was hoping that the "hurricane" IG was about a new girl, not Kaitlyn.  I heard from a friend who has a friend in CHI that Nick made out with her like 4-5 weeks ago at a bar, so there goes my theory that he was in a relationship. I have no idea if he has been hooking up a lot, but I know that a lot of people do that to get over heartbreak, so I was just hypothesizing that maybe he had been and Whitney told Kaitlyn?

Watch them be perfectly friendly to each other as I'm going crazy trying to figure out why Kaitlyn hates Nick, haha.

Sdmom - RS hasn't said anything! If he knew anything, I'm sure he would have spilled.

I don't hesitate to admit that my opinion of Nick was already set in stone from his first go around.  I didn't like him at all during the show and thought he seemed very arrogant and cocky and he just didn't appeal to me, but seemed kind of ....... smarmy maybe for lack of a better word.  (I don't know any of these people, but only know the characters that the show edits them to portray and therefore don't assume that I can tell if someone is sincere and wonderful or a terrible villain.)  But his actions on ATFR cemented my dislike.  I, frankly, can't understand how anyone can defend his comments to Andi.  Overcome with emotion?  I really do not believe that after the interval of time that had elapsed.  I think he was just hurt or angry and wanted to give her a little smackdown.  And it was beyond tacky and classless.  And if he was still so in love with her that he was, in fact, overcome with emotion, then why on earth would he want to embarrass her on national television?  Makes no sense to me.  And my opinion was in no way based on my feelings about Andi.  It has actually been a long, long time since I have had any real favorites on this show.  They are starting to be portrayed as such caricatures, that it is hardly any fun any more.  

He hasn't seemed to be all that bad of a guy on this series, but I still just don't like him.  And it kind of ticks me off that his fans who feel a need to defend him put Kaitlyn on blast for her "misbehavior," when there have been others who  have done much the same things and it was all just kind of ignored.  I really feel there is still a ridiculous double standard about the actions of men and the actions of women and it deeply saddens me.

Same. If she expresses some guilt over taking things too far with Nick and doesn't try to downplay their relationship then I'm not gonna hate on her. Everyone makes mistakes, especially with TPTB in their ear, and it doesn't make them bad people. However, if she turns into a cold b*tch and acts like Nick wronged her instead of vice versa, then I won't like her any better than Andi. If what the article says is true and they haven't had any communication since the FRC, then there is just no excuse for giving him the cold shoulder and acting like he's some stalker creep. None whatsoever. I really hope she can be kind.

ITA! If you don't think it's shameful to sleep with two guys within days of each other and then get engaged to one a few days later, then how is it shaming to bring up the fact? It's ridiculous IMO. Either way you did it! Nick wasn't calling her a sl*t, simply pointing out the action that made him think she loved him after she said she never did. She should be grateful because now she can play the victim for the rest of her life. I'm sure there will be a long chapter on the subject in her book.

This is Nick's thread so I'll keep my response short.
IMO judging K's behavior has nothing to do with a double standard; WRONG IS WRONG.
You could argue there's a legacy of wrong on this show.
CS was wrong to tell K he loved her and K was ABSOLUTELY wrong to let her F2 propose.  
And it doesn't make me sad, just really angry.

Since Kaitlyn likes to "break the rules" and Nick has all of her contact information IMO they have talked since the finale. The producers say they haven't to heighten the supposed drama for ATFR
