When does The Bachelor start filming for next season? Ben H. Just replied to a tweet that he will be in Honduras in September.

Usually earlish-mid Sept. It usually wraps right before USA Thanksgiving.

Would that mean that he might not be the next bachelor?

Perhaps not. Maybe they will be in Honduras late Sept filming. Maybe he will be in Honduras early Sept on his own and they will start filming after. Lots of maybes.

When is the contract usually signed and when she would hear an announcement?

I've been noticing that Ben has not been home (in Colorodo) for a long duration the last few weeks. He's been to Indiana (his hometown), Florida, Michigan, California back and forth for a while now. What's going on with his job with all this traveling?

I think when he's in FL, it's for work. They must send him on business trips to work on clients across the country, maybe this is the account he's currently on

Interesting.  Production doesn't usually leave the country in September.  Has that ever happened?

Of course, as Kasha said, Ben could be doing another mission trip to Honduras with Humanity & Hope United in early Sept. and still be back to L.A. to starting filming TB.

Would his contract allow him to travel to Honduras just before filming though? What if something happens and he doesn't make it back? They would be screwed.

According to previous seasons filming for TB started late September.
