Thanks! I am feeling a little lonely so it's great to have your support. It's certainly been an interesting introduction to the American version of the franchise.

Oh - just had a thought. Are they doing a Men Tell All? That would be so good! When would they do it? Imagine what they would say about Kaitlyn sleeping with Nick since so far only Shawn knows. If they did it, when would they film it? Before the episode of her sleeping with Nick screened on TV? Or after? It could be a Men Tell All where they are all aghast or one where they are in the dark about what happened.

Hey just had another thought - why didn't she tell Ben like she told Shawn?

If the MTA is being filmed on the weekend, they have all watched the show up to now and know that K told Shawn and not Ben. They also know when it happened, early on, so yes, IMO it's not going to be pretty for Kaitlyn when she is confronted. She'll have to answer some tough questions.

Excluding Ben has been discussed as well. Why would she leave him out and find it necessary to tell Shawn. She's the lead, IMO she can do whatever she wants, without telling any of them. Not that I agree with her sexual activites, but that's the way I look at it. Shawn nor Ben need to know, just like Nick doesn't need or want to know about Shawn and Ben's dates.

I thought it was interesting that Nick said in his FSD with Kaitlyn that he gets the vibe that everyone just assumes that Shawn is the frontrunner and they are okay with being second. I could see that playing into it.

I agree that she should have told Ben. I guess the reason could be that Shawn has told her about his trust issues and how important honesty, so she was possibly more worried about him finding out through Nick or the producers. With Ben, he seems a lot more trusting and understanding of her decisions so maybe she wasn't as concerned about him finding out?

It will be interesting to see the MTA and if they really attack Kaitlyn. The Bachelors usually get attacked at the WTA, but the MTA are usually pretty tame. Kaitlyn also said something like "I wonder if the guys dislike you because they know you have such an advantage" to Nick, so I wonder if they always knew that Nick was going to go far and aren't going to be too surprised that she had sex with him early on?

Katie, I'm spoiled too, but since they haven't filmed the MTA, none of us know what they will ask the guys this weekend.  I'm happy to discuss it with you, too!  

I would bet Kaitlyn's confession to Shawn about early sex with Nick will be a huge part of the conversation.  They've all seen it now.  Surely CH will ask them if they knew that, would they have left?  I can't wait to hear their answers, but like chasingpavements said, they might not be too surprised..  I think Jared might have left if he'd known.  He really seemed to fall for Kaitlyn.  What a sweetie!  

They have focused so much on Nick and Shawn this season that I don't think they have a lot to ask the other guys about their time on the show.  What do you think CH will ask?  How did they really feel about Nick coming on the show?  Why they didn't openly support Joshua?  Ian's blowup?  Gosh, I hope he comes across better at the MTA than he did when he left.  Oh, how about the drunken Ryan McGill?  Wonder if he'll show up?  

As for why she didn't tell Ben about sleeping with Nick, I don't know either, but I agree with chasingpavements.  He seemed not to be as worried about trust issues as Shawn.  Maybe she'll tell him this week on their FS date?  What did you think about her questioning him about whether he was a virgin?  I thought that was so rude.

And, I totally agree with you about telling so many guys she is falling in love with them.  That's ridiculous and a first for the U.S. show.  I can't remember any previous Bachlorette saying that on air to a contestant before the FRC.  (Did Des say it directly to Brooks or only to CH?  I can't remember.)  They may have told them in private, but not on-air.  

I also agree with you that Kaitlyn has a long road ahead with whoever she ends up with!  I'm not convinced that any of the F3 are good fits for her.  But, I guess we will see.

Hi Katie! I kind of consider myself unspoiled, I believe nothing that I hear, and I mean nothing! Anyway, it is telling that she didn't tell Ben, she made a point of telling Shawn it was only him. Is this because she cares more about him than she does Ben? Or is it Shawn's personality seemingly very jealous that she thought she should tell him? Did the producers ask her to do it to create drama? (It is a tv show after all, right?) I have the exact same question, why wouldn't she tell all the guys left. Also, if the fantasy suite dates are right around the corner and she'll be doing it AGAIN with Nick, why tell Shawn then? Just to have him fuming? As you see, I have more questions than answers. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me after watching it. I don't know what purpose it served at this point to tell only Shawn.

As for the Men Tell All, that will be coming up in a few weeks, and it should be very explosive - maybe, or at least a lot of sex talk. Oh dear!

What I'm missing from this season is seeing the actual relationships build, the humor together, the sweetness. I just see a lot of kissing, and a lot of drama with Shawn (constantly reassuring him) and I wish we could see the fun, light, frivolous parts of their relationships, or deeper discussions. But, it has been an entertaining season.

I admire you for staying unspoiled! I think there will be an unexpected ending, but what that is, I just really don't know. It's anybody's guess.

Yess, major props for remaining unspoiled! I tried, but couldn't do it when I found out Nick was coming on.

And, I agree with TopShelf that I miss the actual relationship build! She told Shawn on their first date that she was falling for him, after ONE conversation. She had sex with Nick after ONE date. She just told Ben that she's falling in love with him on their 1-on-1, which is weird because I don't think they know anything about each other. It just seems like everyone is telling us that they are in love, but I don't actually see any evidence of it. I actually really liked Nick/Kaitlyn's FSD, because we got to see them be funny and relaxed and just talking about silly, stupid things like people do on early dates. It wasn't super dramatic and intense, which I liked.

I had completely forgotten that Nick said that everyone assumes that Shawn is the front runner for F1. If everyone, except for Nick, assumed that Shawn was her number one, including Shawn, it might explain why Shawn has been acting like a bit of a jealous di#k. Maybe he thought he had it in the bag and then Nick comes along and knocks his confidence and that's why he's acting possessive and competitive.

I agree with you too! Jared definitely comes across as sensitive and genuine and I think he would have been very upset if he had found out before he left the show. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he was pretty upset when he watched the episode with the rest of us. I'm pleased that he left - I don't think she was right for him - from what I have seen on the show he comes across as a really sweet guy and she'd have gobbled him up like a box of candy!

The only reasons I can think of for her to tell Shawn about sex with Nick and not Ben is 1) she values his opinion more or 2) she knew he'd over react and maybe storm out. Whereas Ben would be less dramatic and willing to hear her out.

I actually find the whole situation a bit tricky. The feminist in me says she should be able to have sex with whoever she wants. She hasn't actually committed to a relationship yet so why should she feel guilty. But then the other part of me is saying that she has been disrespectful and unfair to the other guys. It's going to be so interesting to hear what they all have to say at the MTA!

Totally agree with the lack of fun and humor in the relationships. Kaitlyn and Nick seem to have the best banter. They laugh and joke around way more than she does with Shawn and Ben. I think that Nick is most suited to her personality and she seems lighter with him.

Always Tulips - yes I did think Kaitlyn was rude to ask Ben if he was a virgin. It's none of her business at this stage and definitely not something you ask when there are cameras around. It's a very personal thing and if she was concerned she should have waited until they were at the fantasy date.

Also - Is anyone else annoyed with the way the Shawn keeps on calling Nick "the other guy ". I have a real bee in my bonnet about this. I think he is being completely childish and churlish!

I am happy to have you as a friend, Katie! I will say that I agree that Kaitlyn and Nick seem to bring out happiness in each other, and they get along well. I would like to see them together in the end. But, I want to see her interaction with Ben too, because I really like him, just don't know much about him. Shawn isn't "my type" but he might be Kaitlyn's type, so it is OK whomever she might choose, but if I were controlling it all, I'd have her pick Nick and have them give it a go in the real world. I hope the next few shows do a good job letting us see the personalities of all of these people. ;)

Totally annoyed by that, and we laughed as we watched. It was ridiculous after awhile! I agree, very childish and very disrespectful.
