The Becca ship has sailed, IMO. That was a fleeting moment and once she left the show, she was done with that. There are so many other available men that would be a better match for her even more now that she is a celebrity. Both Becca and Whitney could do a lot better than Chris. JMO.

Onto greener pastures for both. I wish all involved well, including the Soules family and Bischoff family. Breaking up is hard no matter what, I can't imagine doing it in the public eye is very easy.

Yup, exactly why I never bought the "mature"/"just not into PDA" defense. The guy himself talked about how important physical touch was in a relationship and couldn't even hold his girlfriend's hand when they were out in public? Come on. I totally do think that, if Jade hadn't done playboy and Becca was more into him, they would have been F2. His body language completely revealed that at the MTA and ATFR. Would those hypothetical couples have lasted any longer? I don't know, but at least those relationships would have been founded on strong mutual romantic feelings, which this was not (IMHO).

This is personally why I feel like it's silly to pick the lead due to who is truly looking for a wife and marriage! Especially when it comes to the men. You can just never tell who is going to be lead astray by the fame and attention. JP was made out to be such a player (and he probably was), but his relationship lasted longer than Andi and Chris's combined!

I would love for them to make it like it used to be. The engagement was not automatic. I know the bachelorette has three successful couples, and the bachelor 1.5 (Jason still picked Melissa first so he only gets a 0.5) successful couples. I think this stupid show is not long enough to really know if you want to get married. Almost 30 seasons with only four successes from engagements at the direct end of taping. Not good. Let these people commit to dating exclusively and see how it goes. I am sick of engagement as an agreement to date and get to really know each other.

BTW, I still like JPG. I think he is real and I know who he is. I have no idea who Chris Soules is. Is he prince farming? Is he the fame seeker from DWTS? Is he a player who wants to get as many women as possible? I don't know, because he was putting on a show the whole time, not really being honest about who he was and what he wanted.

I must say that I'm not shocked. I was only surprised that they kept up the pretense for awhile. I hope Chris reevaluates what he truly wants instead of listening to what his family wants.imo

I accept this as truthful but I admit I was surprised because there are always rumor of cheating and breakup but we always have someone who reports that the relationship has cracks. We had none of that at all with them. So I am surprised.
