Chris Soules & Whitney Bischoff - Bachelor 19 - Discussion - #2

I think Chris is over promoting his being on dwts compared to the other  bachelors / bachelorettes who went on this show.His social media bio has dwts on it and his Twitter composed of being on the bachelor , dwts and his phone number to vote for him.He is campaigning so much to stay on the show . And all he talks on his Twitter is all about dwts all the time.I understand that he needs to campaign himself and that is given  . I do think he is doing it a lot because he really wants to stay on the show and win the mirror ball. That is why every time he received a bad scores and comments to his dancing every Monday . He is so down and angry that I have never seen to anyone reacted that way to those former  Bach /bachelorette who were on the show before . Maybe if Chris acted fairly with being on dwts and to non dwts stuff like his relationship and not all about dwts stuff people will not be so hard towards him. I don't really have anything to Chris but it just what I noticed

Agree that Whitney planned to attend the Derby again - with friends - as she has before. None of our awesome sleuthers picked up on her scheduled attendance at the Derby event until after she posted on IG, but that doesn't mean doom & gloom for C & W.

I get a little confused though with the Chris-Witney rumors. The judges fuss at him about a lack of "connection" with Witney as do many viewers, yet they are having a fling that drove Whitney back home? I thought it was Becca that Chris was pining for... ah well...

Witney and Chris have hardly any chemistry, so I dont think thats any reason to worry.

I can see the argument that they don't have chemistry- one thing I thought was odd until last week- Chris is always holding Witney by the waist, closer to her bottom, (more intimate) instead of over the shoulder (less initmate), and I was worrying that he was being so cavalier, maybe the rumors were true, but last week I saw that when they are lining up at the end of the show, every guy holds their partner like that. So, I was like , "maybe he has been told he needs to rest his hand on her waist."

It is very possible that Chris is so competitive (he has even said as much) and really wants to win, but simultaneously misses his farm and is growing weary. Does he like the spotlight and fame, probably. I don't see Whitney needing it at all. She's stayed genuine throughout. She deserves better than Chris, but hopefully she is happy in the relationship. I don't think Chris made any promises about being available to her throughout this run. I'm actually excited for them to move away from LA and see if they both try to make it work together.

^^ The hand on the waist thing is probably encouraged by the pro dancers as it is how professional dancing pairs stand.

Sorry for quoting myself, but to me this is a big deal for Whitney being from Louisville.  For those of us in the US especially the South, the Derby social events are major and exciting.  The horse race lasts 2 minutes but the party last all weekend.   I am happy to see that Whitney is treated like a celebrity in her own right in her home town.  She will be brushing shoulders with all sorts of people tonight and I look forward to see the photos.    

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Witney. She's a very touchy feely, goofy, sweet, sarcastic person. And she's like that with EVERYONE. Chris isnt special in this case. That's just the way she is. And she's not after Chris, considering she's Mormon and only dates other Mormons for the most part. Her mother, Jill, even had to address rumors on Witney's IG. She said that Witney and Chris are like brother and sister and that she's really close to Whitney. And she would know folks! That's her mom!

The public opinion?? This opinion is only coming from Chris Soules supporters. Dancing With The Stars fans love Witney, in fact she's one of the most popular upcoming pros. The fans wish she weren't paired with Chris this season. And she's a very nice girl. Everyone has nothing but lovely things to say about her. So like I said, all this speculation that she's a "homewrecker" or what not is coming from people who only know her through Chris.

If you dont watch DWTS, or follow dance, specifically partner dancing it's very hard to grasp. But ALL the pros on DWTS are very physical people. Their life and passion and career involve being emotionally and physically involved with their partner. They have to choreograph the moves, put them into their mind, put them into their body, and then perform them. It's all a very intense sensual intimate process. That's why a lot of people see it as "flirting", but that's just what they all naturally do. Kissing people on the neck, wrapping their arms around each other's waist, intertwining hands, etc. is something that is natural to these dancers...that's what they know as "normal". It's just to the outsiders that it's considered strange.

I personally think Witney Carson is bad news because of how she acts around him....have you watched the live feed of DWTS before and gotten to see their interactions backstage? She is always touching him. Always.
And also making him take his shirt off in rehearsals, etc. The very first rehearsal she was inching closer and closer. I think she liked him from the start but of course it could be just all show and nothing more than that.
None of us really know a thing. Just normal to speculate and think 'what would we do if that were us?'
