Chris Soules & Whitney Bischoff - Bachelor 19 - Discussion - #2

Whit is a Kentucky native- the Derby could well be a family tradition or a tradition with old friends in Kentucky.  I agree that she and Chris both probably thought he would be done with DWTS by now. 

She's been a faithful supporter and cheerleader for him. If she was needed in Chicago for work and had Derby plans, good for her keeping some independence and individuality

I don't know if it is because it is a "bachelor couple" and we watched them on TV or what, but seriously, in the real world, people have lives, jobs, previous plans that have to be worked into a new relationship. This relationship is VERY new. I don't understand the concern.

A lot of people feel the couple is going strong and are happy. 
Then there are those that feel for whatever reasons they are faltering. 
Regardless, of how members feel discussion is welcome here.

I certainly hope you didn't think I was saying anything negative about others….this was just my opinion - maybe not expressed correctly but had nothing to do with anyone else's thoughts

This is a time honored tradition in the South and growing up right there where the Derby is, it is no surprise Whitney is going again.  I am glad Whit is true to herself as she has been more than supportive to Chris during DWTS and it is healthy for her to spend time with her own friends and tradition. Fun time sipping mint juleps in fancy hats.

No, I did not interpret what you posted as a negative. Not at all. 
Earlier in the day it was mentioned how much discussion threads were appreciated, so just making sure this type of thread gets it's due.

I see cracks in Whit's and Chris's relationship. JMHO I am glad that if she is having doubts or he is having doubts, she left LA when she did. I think the biggest clue is Chris didn't seem to know if or when she was coming back. All JMHO ;)

I do know she will be seeing Andi at Derby.

I think Chris didn't know when she will be back because  he really thought he would be going home yesterday.   So he has no idea what the plans are because they have totally changed! JMHO

^^Both could have been ready to leave this week for all we know. Despite that, I am glad Whitney is getting home to be with her friends, family and puppy and have fun on her own turf a the Derby.

I agree. Especially if her plan was to stay in Kentucky until Monday or Tuesday she very well might not be back for DWTS because he might be off the show.

 No surprise that this lovely Kentucky native plans to once again attend the biggest social event of the season. Out of this group of eight ladies, only Whitney has the sense of style and self confidence to pull off wearing a bright magenta fascinator! Not that the black straw hats aren't acceptable, but ooh I just love me a gal that can rock a fascinator.
