Of course Booth is casually pals with models Gigi Hadid and Samantha Hoopes. He's basically the male version of Kendall Jenner.

Being a male version of Kendall is good or bad ?

^ I don't know. But it is interesting the pic they chose of Shawn is with 2 ladies. They even tweeted this and used Shawn's pic as the image on the tweet.

To me, it is a very next-lead Bachelor image. Shawn with models/ladies. The other guys images were with their families, their pets or just by themselves. Only Shawn with ladies.

My impression of Shawn's body language when Kaitlyn told the guys she was bringing Nick back was one of considerable disapproval almost bordering on disdain. Knowing how the show works I'm sure that they did ITMs with each of the guys after that reveal but then chose which ones to show - and they didn't show one of Shawn. My guess is they didn't want this to come out at that point in time.

I mean, he said something along the lines of "if Nick is the type she wants, then [he] doesn't want someone like her." So yeah, he's borderline disgusted at the situation.

We even have him in the season preview from the first episode saying "How am I supposed to fall in love with a girl who is going out with other guys?"

It is why I just don't see him falling for Kaitlyn enough to be F1. Obviously I can be surprised but even his reaction to Kaitlyn mentioning Nick was "pour me another drink".

In fact, he posted on his IG the s/cap of him and said "This thing aint gonna fill itself".
As funny as that can be taken in light of the other comments he has made it also could be quite arrogant/condescending.
When I asked my hubby what he thought, he said Shawn posting that seemed a bit entitled and didn't understand why Shawn couldn't get his own drink but wanted to be served. Like, "here waiter, serve me" (my hubby has a petpeeve for how people treat servers, etc. He believes it says a lot about a person)

I have read somewhere or heard that they usually have servers to pur alcohol and keep cups filled

I still haven't made up my mind about Shawn, I need to see more of him to do so.
The scene with "This thing aint gonna fill itself" could also mean: I can't listen to still without a drink. / I don't care what you are saying, I'm out, but I need to stay to become TB, so I need a drink to keep me busy while I have to listen to this / he just needed another drink

I took Shawn posting that as making fun of himself for that scene, like, yeah, of course he looks like a jerk just sitting there waiting to be served 

I think his drink is just needing a drink. Certainly. And cannot blame him. But when piecing his comments together thus far that the show is showing us? Who knows. Like you, still undecided (not about who he is as a person but what his motive is on the show seems conflicting to me).

Didn't Ali say something similar about Vienna on Jake's season - that if Jake wanted someone like Vienna then he wouldn't want someone like her (Ali)? Ali took herself out of the running (by returning to her job, which she then quit to be the next bachelorette) and Jake of course did pick Vienna - and they crashed and burned in spectacular fashion.

Shawn takes that a step further when he says that if Kaitlyn wants someone like Nick then he doesn't want someone like Kaitlyn. Could that line also be foreshadowing? And IMO there's another shoe to drop on this show because in addition to Nick coming on, there's that pesky sex thing. I could certainly see how by the time that Kaitlyn might decide she doesn't want Nick but wants Shawn instead, Shawn doesn't want anything to do with Kaitlyn - the seeds are already planted to support such a story line.

IMO these situations and lines are not organic - the producers set up situations and manipulate people into saying the things they want said so they can wrap the story they want to tell around that. That said it seems to me that they have created a story line that would set up Shawn pretty neatly to be the next lead. He may or may not be the one they pick but they always want options that they could go with - if for no other reason that they can play one option against another when they start negotiations for the next lead. This is a chess game and they are always setting up moves for the future.

An interesting reaction but when you're out at a bar or restaurant there's always a bar tender that pours the alcohol (customers would pour too much for themselves if allowed to pour their own and there go the bar profits) so I think the "pour me another drink" is pretty natural, not demeaning to wait staff.
