Couple 1: Ryan Hardy, who I hear has quite the following, marries Olivia Pope. Talk about the in-laws from hell. Will Ryan agree to moving to Washington and being in the limelight? I hear he is a bit of a sociopath. I wonder if Dr. C will be able to figure him out.

Couple 2: Raymond Reddington, a man with a definite mysterious past marries Emily Thorne or Amanda Clark depending on the day and time and who she is with. Talk about multiple personalities. Dr. C will really be put to the test. 

Finally Couple 3: Bruce Jenner marries Piper Chapman. Dr C is having a difficult time putting his finger on who Bruce really is and if he truly does look best in orange. Bruce is convinced orange makes him look fat and older. Who needs that? And Piper, well Piper is simply Piper.

OMG ... thanks for the laugh before I turn in! What a day ... great job to our fearless mods.

Oh and Kasha, thanks for bursting my bubble about nurses being kindly saints!! Now in addition to being a hypochondriac, I need to worry about meeting a sociopath in the ER. Swell.      clap3

ETA2: Oh gosh Monkeychow, I don't know what match would be worst! Actually I think that Monet and Davina should go out for drinks cause they seem to have a lot in common and then Sean and Vaughn (hey, that rhymes ) could go looking for ladies in Jersey. They'd be great wing men.

To answer your question and to clarify the time frame from miscarriage to signing up for the show...

Bee: During the matching process did you know that Sean had been through a recent life trauma of losing a child to miscarriage?

Dr. C: Yes, Sean was very open about the miscarriage. This occurred in early February of 2014. He began the assessment process for MAFS in late Fall of 2014 and was married to Davina in December 2014, almost a full year after the miscarriage and end of that relationship.

We considered this carefully and actually did not struggle much about this issue. We considered many people who were coming out of relationships much sooner than Sean.

Regarding the miscarriage, it's important to remember that grieving is a very individual process. All the assessments and interviews indicated that Sean was in a healthy (and expected) place regarding grieving that loss and the timing of it all.

No, no - Sean & Vaughn are geographically closer and Sean has room in his house for Vaughn's bed. Davina and Monet should become friends and hang out in NYC. They can't do worse they have done. And Sean looks so much friendlier with Dr. C than anyone else.

I never put much stock into the gay rumors but I have too noticed this dynamic. Adding fact that he didn't reciprocate when Davina wanted to get physical makes me thinks that there may be some truth to it. Maybe Sean is bi? That could be what Davina was implying with her smokescreen comment?

But Dr. C.'s information is dependent on SV having told him the truth.
Myself, I tend to believe his co-worker who was in on the rescheduling that had to happen when the miscarriage happened.

I don't like SV - I'm one of the people who finds him creepy and just ... off ... somehow.

But I think they've both been very ill-served by the so-called "experts". Rather than finding them mates they could grow with and learn to love, all the experts have done is subject them to more trauma.

So Dr. C just said on the other board he posts at that soon after filming Sean was awarded a significant promotion at work and he's now the head administrator for the ER and manages more than 100 staff members. Funny how that never came up in this thread before. Or did he lie about that too for no reason?

the drama seems to not end with this show -- Jersey Nurse and others who work with Sean is this true? He must have a very hard job these days especially if people at work don't like him or are suspicious of him when he's supposed to administer the ER (I assume mainly nurses??)!!
