Married At First Sight - Season 2 - Sean Varricchio - Davina Kullar - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

If Sean duped the experts than Davina did as well. IMO I can't personally sit here and say he didn't tell the truth or made things up and that's why this is not working. I think Davina is getting so much flack because...well it's deserved. Jaclyn was dumped on after the first few episodes but we saw that that was not her full personality...Davina has exhibited the traits of a brat, princess, diva, etc. (what fans are calling her) for a while now. What I've learned from watching years and years of trashy TV (hello Real World NY circa 1992) is that the producers use what you give them. If your attitude is diva-like...guess what? Quack, quack duckies. I don't believe these two are still married buy I don't blame the experts, nor do I place the fault solely on Sean.

I would think that info would be fairly easy to verify. 
Generally a move like that, has associated educational level (bsn or most likely msn) associated with it in order to achieve admin status.

I read that as well - he also seems to imply that Davina was unwilling to move out of her neighborhood on the Upper East Side, which added another 30-45 minutes to Sean's commute.

Oh - and that for next season, they will add social media behavior to their personality profiles ... he's aware of Davina's twitter frenzy.

I agree. She did acknowledge that she saw some diva traits.

Hi Kristen...yup, it's definitely tough to see some of the "Diva Davina" moments, haha. I think everyone will see the whole story as the episodes go on. Thanks for supporting, watching, and commenting

I understand the concept of deal-breakers but if you want something bad, in this case marriage, you should bend a little. Marriage is all about compromise. I understand he agreed to move but it's human nature to freak out and change your mind. She just needed to show him, she was worthh it, which IMO sshe didn't do.


I have been to NY especially Manhattan, I Really don't see the big deal there or NewYorkers am I missing something?

Ok. I have been reading this board for quite some time now. I haven't posted before because quite honestly, I kind of just like sitting back and watching the craziness of this board. You have to admit, it's pretty entertaining.
However after reading this post, I feel the need to speak up.

Promotion? Are you kidding me?  First of all, we don't even have 100 people staffed in our ER! That whole statement is just nonsense and another one of Sean's ever growing stories. And with all this privacy and HIPAA, it's not like you can just call and ask. However, you can call the hospital and say that you want to write a thank you note and ask who the director of the ER is and they will tell you who it is and give you the address.  That should be enough proof for all of you sleuths out there who still want to think that Sean is just getting a bad rap.

I'm going to disagree with JN on one thing. Sean is NOT a good nurse. A good nurse has to be ethical. Sean is anything but. He has this hero complex and constantly acts like he is the best thing to ever grace any room he walks into.

We have a few of the guys that have gone out with Sean after work and they have made no secret of the fact that Sean likes to pick up women by telling them he is a doctor. Disgusting. He even bought a BMW to go along with the charade.
BUT, it did blow up in his face one time.  One of his "conquests" that he met out one night showed up at the hospital asking to speak to "Dr. Sean". Well, Dr. Sean wasn't there but Nurse Sean sure was. And Nurse Sean went into panic mode. Telling us this woman is crazy, etc. He refused to speak to her. He got caught. And when he gets caught, everyone and everything is out to get him. He never owns up to his behavior. He is paranoid and with good reason. When you spend your life fabricating stories and telling so many lies, you can't keep track of them all and eventually some will come back to bite you in the butt.

When casting was taking place for this show, Sean was running his mouth to anyone who would listen. This was going to be the building block to other TV shows. He has been training for marathons and other such things for a long time. Straight out of his mouth he said he would love to be on "Survivor or Amazing Race." He was never interested in marriage. When he was going to be a dad, he had no intention of marrying this girl. Heck, they weren't even in a relationship.  

Sean never moved to NY either. He was at work on his scheduled days. And his address never changed either on his nursing license. (Public record my friends)

This man definitely exhibits symptoms of bipolar disorder. He has high highs and low lows. He loves to talk down to people.

The only people who work with Sean who think that he is just an amazing person are a few of the doctors who he puts on a show for.

As for Dr. Cilona defending him, IMO when someone like Sean has mastered the art of manipulation, he can even fool the best of experts.

Interesting that Sean's being called a trauma nurse here...so I'm not so sure the title was made up by him...

Ruqibabe -- I was born and raised in New York City. Haven't lived there in many years, although I've visited many times. There is an appeal of the "big city" life for some people: the stores, restaurants, theater, concerts, etc. There are some who would not leave New York City if their lives depended on it. I don't "get it" but each to his/her own.

In situations like that, when they ask you your title, you tell them and that is what they publish. If I was to be involved in a rescue, they would ask me my name and what I do. That's what they publish. No one is going to further investigate WHAT type of nurse you are because you did a great thing.
Everyone in our workplace in an ER nurse and we all deal with trauma. Now, I don't even know if Sean has the certification so I can't say if he is or is not.

I do want to explain to non-medical people exactly WHAT a trauma nurse it. When people come into the ER they are classified as one of two things. A medical case or a trauma case. Now trauma is a big word. Sounds like it's the really good stuff you see on Grey's Anatomy.

"Mechanism of Injury" is a term used in the emergency services to help determine the level of care a person needs based on how they were injured. Trauma refers to something "traumatic" such as a fall, vehicle accident, fight. . you can use your imagination there. Injuries can be broken bones, , lacerations, dislocations, etc.
Medical patients would be non trauma related say, colds, cardiac, respiratory, etc.
So it's not even really a big deal. It's just a stupid title. As ER nurses, we do it all.

IMO something smells fishy. Some chick shows up at an ER asking for Dr. Sean...not Dr. Varricchio? JMO, but either Sean has horrible man-ho skills or this woman is an airhead. I'm not going to voice the 3rd choice here.

As a born and bred NYer, it's a great place to visit and when I lived there I loved it. However, I made the decision to leave when I got married (to my husband who lived out of state). Davina could have moved just like Sean moved but IMO it's indicative of my impression of her...entitled, spoiled.

Welcome Str8Up. Thanks for posting with us - glad you felt like you could share and post now! It's always useful to have multiple voices and by the looks of things Sean could actually benefit from being held accountable...

What a trainwreck this show is becoming and the lies seem to continue I agree that it'd be very easy to verify who the head of ER!
