I think every person sees things a certain way, based on their bias. It's human nature.

The contestants may get the final word only 10 days before the wedding, but they know well in advance where they are in the process and if they are a finalist.

I believe Davina purchased her place with that knowledge. She had no reason to believe she shouldn't, as she never had any intentions of moving outside of Manhattan.

Sean may have been willing to relocate, had all the other facets of the relationship played out differently. However, he owns his house and has an established career, so it's not as easy as just "moving out". I don't think he had any idea what to expect or how difficult this would be.

I don't believe in using social media to bring others down, in an effort to gain support for yourself. I lose respect when I see retweets that do exactly that.

I say, good for him for staying off social media. Cyber bullying is just as damaging as face-to-face bullying, or maybe even more so, because there is less opportunity to defend yourself. Once you have suffered through any kind of bullying, you don't need to put yourself back in that situation again.

I tweeted to Jaclyn, "It's a good thing that what others say about you doesn't define who you are. Your moral compass defines who you are. Stay strong." The freedom of speech gives everyone the right to voice their opinion. But that doesn't make their opinion true.

We are only seeing the pieces of this relationship that the editors want us to see for their storyboard. This is not like TB where they have cameras on them 24/7. For the most part, what we saw this week was filmed in one or two days. That leaves the majority of what happened in this relationship, off camera.

After watching all these back, Davinaa needs to apologize to Sean and maybe goo for counseling.m

Well as I said, Dr. C said that Sean made his decision not to watch already before he was matched and Dr. C really pushed him on the topic because it was hard for him to believe someone wouldn't want to watch themselves on TV. Sean didn't know back then how it would turn out, so it can't be just about being embarrassed.

To me, how you describe it makes it sound like he did really want to be married, but it failed and now he's unhappy because of it. If he just wanted to be on TV, then wouldn't he be acting more like Monet? Her marriage failed too, but she was still very active on SM and wanted to be part of the sequel too.

I don't blame the guy for being upset, especially how he's being maligned in public. Even his off screen movements are being documented in public something he didn't sign up for. I personally would be upset. They all signed up for this but for Davina to get a universal and sweeping pass, even after favoriting those tweets (disgusting and childish in my opinion)...
Having grown up and lived and worked in NYC I know plenty of Davinas. She's almost a caricature at how stereotypical she's acting. No wonder she's single.

Great point mindless. I agree. Jamie was dragged through the mud almost throughout the season for how she was towards Doug but she STAYED all over SM. Granted that's because they ended up staying married, but still. I have to agree with you.

I don't think Davina is getting a pass. Iff you check MAFS facebook page, she is taking a lot of bashing.

I blame the experts. I suspect that the formula for the experts is find the best matches but that they must be somewhat photogenic and there must be some hurdles or conflict (makes for more exciting TV). The differences between D & S is too great(remember Vaughn lived in Central Jersey and Monet lived in Harlem). If you really want to be married you make compromises. Neither of these two are willing to do that - in part because they are both dominated by their own fears. Davina defines herself by her jobs and her friends, all of which are in NYC. Leaving them to marry a stranger - a very risk proposition in itself - would be terrifying. Sean, opens up and wants sympathy, but I have seen no empathy. To make a marriage work you need to have shared values, willingness to compromise, and be straight with yourself and your spouse. These are the issues that I recall from the casting episode that have come true: Davina said that she would not leave NYC, Dr. C said Ryan D had an edgy temper (how about a short fuse?), Ryan R. said it would be hard for him to leave his mom (couple of things on that- he is 28 and not left home, he seems to have stepped in when his parents split 18 years ago), Jaclyn said admitted to walling her self off (she also said that she was an all in or all out girl), Sean was bullied in the past which could suggest poor personal skills (that is not meant to blame the victim, I was bullied as a child to the point that when we moved in 4th grade two little girls made everyone saying they were glad hated me (happened in the very last few minutes of class when the teacher left the room and what I mean by bad skills is that he may have been shy, nerdy and not stood up for himself, that took me years to overcome).

Sean and Davinia and their constant overanalysis is exhausting - Dr. C put it perfectly when he pointed that out...
