To me, no matter what went down between them, both Davina and Sean know what its like to be bullied. It looks bad on her to re-tweet and favorite those negative tweets.

Maybe the experts are feeling the wrath of failing with Sean and Davina? I agree, she is really clear in her SM that she is NOT happy. I would have thought that there were moderators for their SM, like Ryan D. implied.

Yes-JN! Me too.. I think Ryan mentioned that their SM activities is being watched on a post last week where he was defending jess.

I just feel like Sean was in it for the wrong reasons. He wanted to be on TV. He wanted to honeymoon, etc. but once he doesn't get his way, he shuts down. This isn't fair to Davina.  I don't blame her for being bitter.

Maybe I did not hear her correctly?  She sold her old apartment and bought a new place right before the experiment?  The apartment they just got is just temporary.  If you know you signed up for a show where you will get married, why not wait and pick a new place 'in manhattan' with your husband?  Why buy a new place right before the experiment?  Whoever married her would not have a say on where they lived anyway.

In watching them discuss finances last night I felt like Davina was telling Sean that SHE would become resentful because SHE makes more money than him even though she was telling him she didn't want HIM to become resentful. Just a feeling I got.

Yes, she did say that she sold her old apartment. She did only get ten days notice that she had been matched so I am sure she already was in the process before she even knew she would be on the show. Not that I am making excuses because you are right. I think she is just so motivated and set on what she wants that she does it. She feels she has worked very hard to get where she is and wants to enjoy it.

Then again, I am not a Sean fan so I could be seeing with rose colored glasses.

What does Sean get out of being on TV when he's not even watching the show or interacting with viewers in any way? Dr. C said he decided not to watch before filming even started. People who just want to be on TV usually make the most of it.


Anyway, Davina is getting really annoying. I don't think she should move out of Manhattan when she made it clear from the beginning that she wouldn't, but Sean did agree to move there for her, so she could at least give him a minute to adjust. It's like she expected him to jumping for joy and now that he's feeling uncomfortable, she's taking it as a personal insult. Did they leave out something significant? Because she seemed to be getting pissy for no real reason. What has she done for Sean exactly?

I do think the experts need to start seriously considering the location issues. People make sacrifices for love, but these people don't even know each other yet. Making huge sacrifices is no way to start a relationship. It's just a big distraction and a source of discomfort.

Yeah I'm not getting the sense that Sean just wants to be on TV. From reading these posts and DK's SM posts she's coming off as a spoiled entitled Princess. I don't care what she told the experts, you can't come on the show asking for the perfect Prince Charming when he doesn't exist. Yeah, I can't stand her. Good for Sean. Run, dude RUN!

She hasn't. She just wants to be courted and placed on a pedestal but she should realize it is a 2 way street. You give, you get. You can't not give anything and expect everything. This is a marriage, compromise is what marriage is about. I don't even think she likes the dude at this point as the other ladies seem to like their spouses a little at this mid way point. This season is so weird.

Season 3 of Married at First Sight will be in Atlanta so hopefully that will help take care of some of the "relocating" issues that many of these couples are facing.

This is only a GUESS but maybe because the show didn't turn out the way he had hoped, he isn't watching it? Maybe he is ashamed because of how he acted and was embarrassed?

When he signed up for it, before he was even cast, he was all into it. He was telling anyone who would listen. Before the wedding, he was all excited about getting married. He changed in a matter of WEEKS. Now he is just unhappy. And was REALLY cranky on Valentines Day. Just didn't seem like someone who would be in love.
He was always loud and boisterous. Now he is just an irritated soul.

IMO neither one of the got what they wanted, but it appeared they were all in before filming.

While Sean may have participated mainly to be on tv, I doubt he's the only one.  I would equate it to reasons for applying for the Bachelor - 15-minutes-of-fame, adventure, the possibility of a match, etc.  I don't think we can single him out for having less than pure motives.  There's a degree of fame-ho in all of them.

Ryan D has been on an episode of reality tv.  He said in an interview that he was recruited on social media to apply for the show and thought, why not.  Jessica is a model/actress. Jamie Otis has been on 3 reality shows (that I know of).  The Season 1 crew frequently RTs tweets asking for more spin-off shows.  The list goes on.
