Not an insult by a long shot. And BTW she may not have asked a question that needed an answer lol

Jeepers, I think reason is trying to share that in her culture, silence is disrespectful. Let's honor that, even though we may not agree with it.

In my culture it is disrespectful if you dont answer someone back when they speak to you. To me she was saying why waste anymore of my breath on you, you are not worthy of it.

Interesting (and I do not mean it in a sarcastic way at all).

This confirms that because we are all coming from different culture and background and education and experience and age and genre, we all see the same episode differently

In my book, silence is the best response or I would be over dramatic. I learned with years that silence is my BEST FRIEND. Final Rose Ceremony - Screencaps - Discussion - Page 8 40742102

note: recently I was cut out from my job. The RH guy started to say BS of their reasons. I did not say a word beside "when will I receive my last paycheck?"... the guy was litterally sweating in front of me... stupid but I jubilated (SP?) to see him so uncomfortable. In the end what I say or not did not change the issue so why bother and not get some fun from it? I will also add that if the person in front of "you" has an open mind it is fun to confront different opinions but if we know that this person will never accept that you can have a different opinion, why bother?

I might have not explain myself well. I like when Bevin did not answer Andy it was insulting him for the way he treated her and he deserved it. Not answering in my culture = to someone insulting you. She insulted him big time and he truly deserved it. I never like Andy thought he was creepy and not officer and a gentleman so I laugh out loud that night.

ah thank you for the clarification Smiley

I would never judge anyone based on how they react to being dumped at the FRC. The whole experience, which at this point has been going on almost 2 months, is a huge mind****, as we know, and everyone reacts to shock and disappointment differently. Kudos to those who are able to compose themselves and handle it with aplomb and grace, but if you can't and fall apart, or throw a hissy fit, or storm out, so be it. None of us have been there, we are in no position to proclaim with total certainty that we would have behaved any better.

Absinthe is a type of liqueur that is popular in France, and didn't Frank live in Paris for a while? I bet he used to tell the guys about how he drank absinthe there (which probably came off a little pretentious), and so Craig was making a joke about bringing the absinthe (not even sure you can buy it in the US) and missing Frank, the "absinthe drinker".

I get the feeling the guys may have tried absinthe while traveling in Europe with Ali. I can't remember where, but it lingers in my head. (maybe like a hangover LOL)

Thank you Beeleever you got my point. I know not everyone is going to agree with me but that is part of life I roll with the punches we all have a voice, disagreement is always welcome in my world, because my world is complex and I will never have the answer to all things, and another person point of view can change courses.

I totally agree. This is the part of the show I really hate. They have truly been in a bubble for so long and get a cold case of "reality" in the face with usually a long plane ride to follow.

I've been studying this clip on HD from my DVR; here are my thoughts:
