I think Ames was the last to see the “Jordash” connection and that is why we saw all of his facial reactions close-up during the wedding photo shoot. The camera crew wanted to show SOMEBODY looking surprised.

When Blake called JP a sandbagger in Hong Kong, it proved that he, and probably Ben and Constantine as well, knew he was Top Man, as far as Ashley was concerned. She had seen Bentley BEFORE her date with Lucas and the dragon boat race. She told JP FIRST and he made a HUGE blunder telling them. (Chris Harrison's "cocky" comment may not have been directed to Ashley.)

I think this is why the guys were messing with JP's head in Taiwan. And it worked. He looked pretty rough by the end of the wedding pic date or maybe it was the 2 month alcohol/food binge the cast is kept on by TPTB. Ash giving him the rose perked him back up.

It's probably moot, as it may be that Jash were indeed "meant to be".... but I can't help but wonder if the guys might've been more assertive in developing their own relationships with Ashley if she could've done a better job of concealing her attraction to JP (not to mention Bentley)... I know when I was in community theater many years back, handsome (straight) guys were outnumbered.... and I was never the kind to put myself forward to "compete" for the few that were in the cast. I'm married now because my handsome hubby was intrigued by my shyness and was patient enough to wait till the show ended before pursuing anything - he wanted to be sure whatever we built was built on a real foundation, not in the midst of the adrenalin high that was the show....

But I realize Ashley is far more outgoing than myself, so nothing that applies to me would likely work for her.... I just can't help but wonder.... I totally get why some of the guys felt they were wasting their time if they had indeed come looking for a wife, and in RL they could just walk away. But in TB land, they're stuck there, and end up developing their bromances with the only people with whom they have equal opportunities...

it is a voice over in one of the teaser.... we can hear clearly him saying that

there is Ryan who says: it is hard that her heart is not there for me... but there is another voice over from JP saying something like that too

Are we talking about these lines?
(all spliced & diced, no doubt): It makes it a little more difficult for me knowing that she’s probably not in love with me.

A few have suggested that this is a out-with-Dino-or-Ben line from Taiwan, when he had his rough rough week.

Now this line we are mostly certain comes from Taiwan: She’s gotta know that I’m flustered and that I’m upset.

To get back to the FRC Screencaps...I finally found the pix that I was looking for to compare the watch at the FRC...JP and Ash on the train (you know the one....the steamy one) not for sure, if it is the same type watch or not

wish I knew where to direct you to in the sc thread, cause I know those watches have been discussed in the past and there's no doubt that it's Ben's watch that we see at the FRC. The silver part on JP's watch is bigger than Ben's.

When I first looked at those lines, I didn't see the Chrystie Connection. Now I do. It just threw me a bit with the word "love" instead of "like", since he isn't marrying Chrystie. Yet, that line can be changed to deceive viewers.

Harrison: Right now if you
had to rank them, you'd start with J.P. ... but I will say the exotic dates
really change that. There are some bumpy roads ahead for J.P. and
Ashley. I don't know the whole story [about his ex], but apparently he was
devastated. For your mom to say, "I don't want to see you like that
again," he must've been a mess. I think you saw Ashley a bit taken back
about how serious he was with the last girlfriend and that put some question
marks in Ashley's mind. I don't think J.P. is completely ready to let go yet
and all of that really comes to a head next week.

What else can you preview about the fantasy dates?
Harrison: It doesn't go as smooth and orchestrated as it
always does. She has a visitor come back next week [Spoiler Alert:
It's Ryan]
which really doesn't throw her for a loop; it's almost a positive visit. But with the three guys she has left, things aren't quite as
smooth. By the end of next week, the order of who's on top will change.



JP claims to have had a number of short term relationships always. His
mother said he was heartbroken when last relationship ended. How come JP
forgot to/never told Ashley about it. Is JP over his ex. Ashley sent at least
one man home because she did not know if he was over his ex. What else
has JP not told her. Is that a lie or a deliberate omission? Big
doubt with JP now.

TPTB showed us part of it. We discussed that epi at length and great sleuthers on here determined by the slice and dicing and change of their body positions, that they talked about it for a longer time than we saw. It was after that, she kissed him passionately.
