Jeepers, I think reason is trying to share that in her culture, silence is disrespectful. Let's honor that, even though we may not agree with it.

I respect that different cultures have different mores, but, IF on THIS show someone walks away at the FRC and doesnt respond to a question, it is not out of rudeness, but can certainly be that that specific persons way of coping. And seeing as this situation occured in OUR culture I would be hard pressed to call that person rude or insulting under those circumstances

Respect of cultural differences goes both ways. Specific circumstances call for different considerations

We don't know what was said or by which guy. Ashley's not talking in that clip with GSG. Maybe he's expressing hurt and then walking off. We don't actually see DSG walk away from the podium.

Most agree about that but there's some dispute on whether some of the shots we thought were DSG are actually GSG. I think the hands in the pocket are GSG and I'm not the only one. I'm not even 100% sure that the guy getting off the plane is DSG. It's so hard to tell for sure.

I'm sure I wasn't the only one that tweeted Chris & Peyton that they should look up Ben when they're in SF. I doubt very much Chris wants to comfort Ben. That's not a guy kind of thing to do even if Chris did know the outcome which I doubt he does. He doesn't even watch the show.

Color me confused. Why are we speculating that Ben left without saying anything to Ashley? We have nothing to support that theory.

Yup, it's weird how things are percieved. You said that you thought it was the GSG that is walking away, if so, wouldn't that be JP??

We are in agreement. I was not making a statement regarding Bevin's behavior. What I was trying to point out is, like reason shared with us, culture plays a part in how we interpret things. I believe this is one explanation for misunderstandings among people in general. I especially agree with your statement that respect of cultural differences goes both ways. It's all good.

Word. I was confused for a sec. JP seems to be Mr. Heart on his sleeve! I can't see him leaving without saying anything. He'd be more likely to suck it up and wish her well even in spite of his shock. JMO
