Her final 1 had not come yet when she make that PI. It is after the final 2 left look at the sun.

it would suck if Ben is final 2 and walk away being upset and not saying anything to Ashley
i hope it's not the case, he's a gentleman, a good guy and i don't want him to end his journey with a bad exit

We don't know what was said or by which guy. Ashley's not talking in that clip with GSG. Maybe he's expressing hurt and then walking off. We don't actually see DSG walk away from the podium.

I wouldn't think Ben would be the type to want to insult and hurt Ashley--but you may know better than I do.

It may not be about wanting to hurt her, it is just that is the time he will realize that he has been fooled. When he said to her that she has him right where she wants him, she knows going into the hometown dates that she was 95% sure of who her final 1 will be and she has said it in interviews, then he should have been the one sent home after hometown because there was nothing there with ames and constantine they could have been the one taken to final 2. Ben did tell her about been hurt when his father died a little compassionn knowing your final 1 before hometown and fantasy date would have been kind. And YES, YES I know it is the name of the game, but I which for once the lead took control and miminize the trama have the guts to stand up to the producers and said I cant and wont do this period. But when you sell your soul to the devil then you have to pay only is your integrity worth all that.

Maybe it's possible that Ashley was planning on sending Ben home after FDs, but then Constantine dropped out on his own? It would certainly explain why she was so upset, moreso because she would have to lead on Ben and hurt him more, than because she was really concerned about losing Dino. But I think Ames was equally attached to her and crushed to be sent home, so I can't really blame Ashley for not sending Ben home then; in fact I think Ames in some weird way was infinitely more vulnerable and clueless than Ben was. Plus I have no doubt that Ashley was much more comfortable spending time with Ben than she was with Ames, particularly when it came to any physical interactions. After all, Ben was still her "type", and that didn't change just because another guy already had her heart.
